This exceptional 2,000 sq ft 4 bedroom cottage was built to maximize luxury the highest quality finishes, materials and craftsmanship throughout. The living quarters are decorated with an extensive use of artfully styled accents, stunningly built in cabinetry and modern appliances.

Enjoy summer life outside by the private pool or enjoy an evening in our heated jacuzzi gazing under the stars right outside your door. Take in a round of golf among seven local golf courses minutes away or build a snowman on our 5 acres of beautifully landscaped property with your grandchildren in winter weather. You may plan a ski trip to Sky Liberty or Whitetail or simply take a nap. We want to share our amazing property with you! Whether you are in Frederick to sightsee, visit friends, attend a wedding or event, or pursue a job opportunity you’ll enjoy your stay in our beautiful, tastefully appointed home away from home

We offer a spacious fully furnished gourmet kitchen equipped with everything you need including: dishes, glasses, cutlery and pots and pans. The kitchen features handpicked granite counter tops and tile, custom cabinets, large pantry, full-size appliances, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. Bottled water, coffee, tea and sweeteners are provided. A charcoal grill is available upon request.

The home features four bedrooms with ample closet and storage space. Luxury custom linens, fluffy duvet, plush pillows and deluxe towels are provided. We offer all the comforts of home including complimentary Wi Fi, washer and dryer, three flat screen cable TVs, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, basic toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, comb). Local laundry service is available for our long term guests.

Inside our spacious rental we offer a separate library to sneak an hour or two curling up with a good book. And for that quick necessary business call we provide a private office with a work desk, lamp and internet access.

Ample parking is available for your car(s), van, RV, trailer, and/or boat. No restrictions and any size vehicle is acceptable.

A two night minimum stay is enjoyed by many but you may prefer a week’s stay to take in the sites that Frederick has to offer. Let us be your home base as you shop, dine and discover historic downtown Frederick including wineries, orchards, Revolutionary and Civil war heritage sites, Farmer's Markets and many museums. Downtown Frederick also boasts a host of nightlife activities for those who enjoy going out after dark.
Area Information
Conveniently close to I-70, I-270 and Route 340, yet just 10 minutes from historic downtown Frederick. Secluded and quiet….yet close to golf, shopping, restaurants, antiques and more.

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountains you will be less than one hour from Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland and minutes from Gettysburg, Antietam and Harpers Ferry. A trip to the big city isn’t necessary for history buffs. Tour the National Museum of Civil War Medicine or the Revolutionary Hessian Barracks, or the grounds of Monocacy National Battlefield. Travel to nearby Antietam, Gettysburg, Harper’s Ferry, or South Mountain Battlefield.

If nature is more your pleasure, hike or bike the trails of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Catoctin Mountain Park or the C&O Canal or take in the waterfalls at Cunningham Falls State Park. A tour of downtown Frederick’s historic architecture, public arts, the Community Bridge and murals makes a great day trip. Frederick has been named one of “America’s Dozen Distinctive Destinations:,” “Great Places in America,” and a “Preserve America” community.

Performing Arts & Music
The city of Frederick is a recognized Maryland Arts and Entertainment District. Take in a play, concert or dance performance at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Across the street you’ll find a more intimate experience at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre featuring a mainstage series of original and contemporary plays, comedies improve troupes, and a family theater series. If a dinner theatre is more to your liking visit the Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre.

Lovers of live music will want to visit downtown Frederick after 9 pm on weekends. Shoppers will love boutiques, specialty shops and antique emporiums in downtown Frederick. It’s a short drive to one of the nearby antique meccas, such as New Market, Mt Airy, Middletown, Emmitsburg and Thurmont. Sample Frederick’s nationally acclaimed wines at wine festivals held throughout the year.

Summers in Frederick is magical with wonderful arts events. The Frederick Festival of the Arts features more than 100 artists and dozens of musical offerings. Frederick also boasts a great Summer Concert Series which launches its annual season of weekly Sunday night concerts in beautiful Baker Park. On Thursday mornings in late June, July and August, Summerfest Family Theatre features professionally produced children’s entertainment there as well. On Thursday nights the Carroll Creek Amphitheatre heats up with the sounds of live music during Alive @ Five for those over 21.

The Appalachian Trail traverses Gathland as well as Washington Monument state Park, the first national tribute to the father of Our Country.
