Description from owner

The Greenbush Retreat is located in Friendship, WI. It is a 4 season private getaway, a quiet solitude in the woods! This cabin is intimate enough for a romantic get-a-way for two, yet it sleeps nine and is fully furnished, including dishes, linens, and towels.

This cabin was built in 2009, using reclaimed barn wood for interior accents and trim. The beams and posts in the living room and kitchen are from century old barns. The sunroom has a working sliding barn door.

There are 2 bathrooms and 3 large bedrooms. The master bathroom has a vertical spa shower with 4 body jets.

There is plenty of space for the whole family or several couples. There is a TV for DVD viewing only, with a variety of DVD's. There are a few board games for your amusement.

Enjoy the songbirds and the sights of wildlife right outside the door. There is an outdoor fire ring to toast your marshmallows!

The Greenbush Retreat is a great place to get away from it all and just unwind.

Beds: 1 Queen Bed, 3 Double Beds, 1 Twin Bed

Great space. Easily accommodates 9 people. Comes fully furnished and with a fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend. Carl makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

“Another great experience”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2016

As before the place was ready for us with fresh towels and clean rooms. Carl was so gracious to allow us more time at the end of our stay to accomodate one last adventure, free of charge. I have definatley recommended this place to all my friends.

“PEACEFUL AND RELAXING”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2016

My boyfriend and I stayed at Carl's Cabin (Greenbush Retreat) along with our 2 dogs. It was a great vacation. It was a nice and peaceful retreat away from our everyday busy lives. It was quiet and relaxing. The cabin fit us perfectly and enough rooms for the dogs to run around. Cabin was tucked back into the woods where you could see wildlife and not be bothered by busy roads. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Totally recommend this cozy pretty house. We stayed there for a couple of days around New Year's and had a great time. The house is comfy and cozy and has everything you need , Carl - the owner is a really nice guy. Overall a great place for a family or romantic gateway

“great time”

The cabin was beautiful, very private. I went to the cabin with my children, who r over 20, and two dogs. The cabin is spacious and very nicely laid out, although there could have been less spiders on the outside door frames. But that was not a problem at all. The cabin was fully loaded with games, movies, potts, pans and silverware.

We were lucky enough to win two free nights at this amazing cabin that Carl had donated at the Chocolate Affair in Adams. This was by far the best thing we have ever won. My husband and I along with another family of 6 stayed there last weekend. It was amazing. Three days with 4 adults and 4 kids and we never turned on the TV with DVD's or used any electronic's except for a few text messages to people who wanted to check out the cabin. We sat around the campfire or in the cabin and just played games and chatted about previous vacations we have all spent together. This was everyone's favorite by far. Everything you can think of is included except your food. We also bought our own Ninja blender for our traditional chocolate shakes we always have to make. Carl is so easy to work with and stopped by to meet the lucky winner of his very generous donation. We wouldn't change a thing and would love to return there anytime. We would highly recommend this cabin to everyone we know!!!

“Home away from home!”

We stayed at Carl's Cabins Greenbush Retreat Cottage and were pleasantly surprised. The pictures online were nice, but the cabin in person was even better. Kitchen was large and stocked with dishes and pots and pans, microwave, stove, refrigerator and coffee pot. The cabin was clean and cozy. Linens were fresh and the cottage was very kid friendly. Bathrooms were very nice, especially the master bath shower. Carl was great to work with, very friendly and accommodating. There were board games provided and even a scavenger hunt list. Carl has thought of everything! The cabin itself is nice and secluded surrounded by nature in the woods but the towns of Friendship and Adams were about 6 minutes away, where you can find anything you need. The Dells were about a half hour, but a very nice and easy drive. We had a great vacation and plan to make the Greenbush Retreat a yearly vacation destination for our family.

“TIMBERED TREASURE CABIN - AMAZING!!!!!”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2013

My husband, and dogs and I stayed here for 3 nights. The cabin is built as solid as a rock! It is made and furnished with barn wood, which give the cabin a very unique look. Roxanne's decorating is one-of-a-kind. So much detail and very tasteful. The heated flooring was perfect for heating this space - kept the cabin at a very comfortable temp - much better than forced air. The place is fully furnished, even a vacuum was available to take care of the sand that was tracked in. The stairs to the loft are like walking on cement, that is how well they are built. No squeaky wood! I can't say enough about how cool and well built this place is. There are a lot of windows to allow light in, which was really nice when it was chilly. The property is just beautiful - the cabins sits on 5 secluded acres. You could hear a pin drop at night, it was that quiet. We saw a lot of different birds and the fire pit was a welcome friend on the chilly evenings. We met Carl when we arrived, what a nice, genuine, down to earth guy. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. We were so impressed with this cabin and location, we are definitely going to return sometime after the first of the year. Timbered Treasure is the perfect name for this cabin!!!! Looking forward to our return. Sincerely, The Weils

“Greenbush Cottage spring break getaway”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2013

This is a very nice 3 bedroom getaway. The bathroom/shower in the master bedroom is multi-head and was a like getting a mini massage each day. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked. We enjoyed all of the decorations and the woodwork throughout the house. We had our dogs with us and they felt right at home and there was plenty of places close by to take them for walks. We look forward to our next visit.

“Ice Fishing Winter Getaway”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2013

Very nice cabin. It's more of a house than a cabin. Very country, cozy feel with everything you need to get a good nights rest and easily prepare great meals and get out and enjoy the outdoors. We had a great weekend even though the fish didn't cooperate. We are already planning another trip next year and we will fish Castle Rock.
