Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental
As many as 7 guests can comfortably enjoy Sunset Paradise at Maravilla, an establised resort community near the end of Galveston's Seawall.

Sliding door access to the well appointed balcony from both the living room and master bedroom. The master currently features 2 twin beds, as does the 2nd bedroom, while the spacious hallway boasts of a single twin daybed with privacy curtains, and a "click-clack" sofa in the living room which converts to a double bed for additional sleeping space.

Half baths from the master and entry hall are connected in the middle with the gorgeously tiled tub/shower combination.

And should it rain or you get too much sun and want to spend time indoors, you won't argue over what to wach as there are televisions in the living room and master bedroom. The owner has even provided in-room WiFi at no additional cost.

The kitchen is truly a dream - everything you could need to either warm up the leftovers for a midnight snack, or prepare gourmet meals.

Area Information
Towards the end of the Galveston Seawall, you are only minutes away from any of Galveston's attractions, but where the noisy part of traffic comes to an end.

If you choose, you can walk to the miniature golf course, batting cages, fishing pier, movie theater and go-kart track/arcade. You can even walk to the beach if you like - the closest sandy beach is less than a mile to our west. And there are many beaches to choose from - some are more secluded than others, some more populated with amenities such as shower facilities, snack shacks, etc. Whatever your beach pleasure, there is definitely something for everyone when it comes to beaches.

And so much more: shopping, dining, arts entertainment, local artisans, cruise terminals, or just do nothing!

I rode the ferry...

weekend stay

August 2, 2013

The condo was very cute and fit 5 adults perfectly. We stayed at the pool all weekend. It was great. Our unit was a bit hard to find and the staff didn't seem to know where it was either. The staff was very friendly however. The condo had a very strange smell but overall it was a very fun weekend. All enjoyed the property

Owner's reply:

Wondering what the "strange smell" was as this was just recently completed, perhaps the fresh paint smell was still there. So glad our guests had a great time and hope they will return again! It is not expected that they spent most of their time at the pools at this great complex - while in Galveston and close to the beach we hear this a lot - that families arrive and never leave the complex with the exception of grocery shopping or meals. The pools and grounds are unbeatable!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What will I need to bring with me to enjoy my stay at Sunset Paradise?
A: Sunscreen, swimsuit, beach towels and food. Everything else you could possibly need is here waiting for you. The kitchen is complete with plenty of cookware, dishes, small and large appliances, the beds are made, and the weather is great - almost all year round.
Q: What do the prices include? What else will I be charged.
A: We try not to surprise people so we include almost everything we can think of. The "rent", occupancy taxes, bed linens and bath towels, post-move-out cleaning, damage waiver, one parking permit - we've included all of that. If you have more than one vehicle there will be a charge for extra parking permits, but other than that, you're all set once you get a price quote
