Description from owner
There's plenty of adventure to be found in the East Tennessee Smoky Mountains forest and river landscapes. You can raft down the Pigeon River rapids which dip and splash through the Cherokee National Forest. In the midst of the Smoky Mountains there are so many opportunities to hike, fish, and explore. The Smoky Mountains visitor Center is just a few minutes drive and offers a museum and a multitude of ideas for day hikes, bike riding and more.
In nearby Gatlinburg you can enjoy Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, Putt-Putt Golf, and wonderful dining experiences! Just a few minutes away Pigeon Forge offers Dollywood, Dolly Parton's smoky mountain theme park and water park.
Outlet malls galore also await you in Pigeon Forge, with the Five Oaks, Red Roof and Tanger outlet malls filled with brand-name manufacturer and designer outlet stores. There are great bargains at Banana Republic, Coach, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and more.
For the real adventurist, how about a drive to Knoxville, where you can see the University of Tennessee Volunteers football game, or hop on the Three Rivers Rambler, a vintage steam train that puffs and toots its way for 90 minutes through beautiful countryside to Forks of the River and back.
And when you are done exploring the mountains, hiking and shopping you can come back to your mountain getaway cabin, Smoky Mountain High. This beautiful log cabin is just 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes drive to Pigeon Forge and is conveniently located in Gatlinburg's premier log home community, Black Bear Falls. Relax in front of the stone fireplace and enjoy the warm wood finishes and tasteful decor. Take a dip in the Black Bear Falls pool in summer, challenge friends and family to a game of pool or simply kick back in your bubbling hot tub while enjoying the great Smoky Mountain view. Settle the kids in with their favorite movie on DVD and enjoy the sunset from the rockers on the deck. Whatever your plans, be sure to reserve Smoky Mountain High for your vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains.

“Very neat and good secluded location”
Cabin was very neat and in a private community of cabins. All the rooms were good size and had ample amenities. Check in and check out was a breeze, everything was done via email / phone. Pool table and hot tub was fun for the family. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, will definitely come back.
“Smookey Mountain High”
This was great, the cabin was 100% and we are so happy that we rent this cabin. I will let all my friends know about this place. The best cabin we have ever staid in.
My family had a wonderful time at this cabin. Great location, lots of room and beautiful views! I would highly recommend it!!!
Cabin was clean. Nice view. We enjoyed staying, will love to come back again. First day a/c wasn't working properly, but they took care immediately..
“Can't wait to return”
Gatlinburg is our 1/2 way point to meet our Kids & Grandbabies this was the perfect vacation for our family it's a beautiful cabin, view everything you would possibly need very clean and well kept. Went to a local pizza place and seen a huge black bear on our way back to the cabin the kids were beyond excited.. We definitely will return next year..
The cabin was easy to find. It was very clean and well maintained. Having each of the bedrooms on separate floors was very nice. The fact that each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom was very helpful. My husband and I used the bedroom on the main floor and our children and their families used the other two bedrooms. the bathroom on the main floor was much smaller than the other two. I wish the bathroom on the lower level had been on the main level. My husband uses a walker and there wasn't enough room to get in with his walker. The fact that it was a tub instead of just a shower made things a little difficult. I would rent this cabin again if the need arises. Thank you for a great week-end.
“Smoky Mountain High is Exceptional”
Smoky Mountain High exceeded my criteria of a clean log house with a mountain view and easy access to the area. While the city was congested at our peak season visit, the Black Bear Falls community was ideally peaceful. The 3 king suites and common areas were homey and comfortable. The exterior deck were very clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and community!
We had such a wonderful time! Everyone loved the view. One of the ladies with us said there were live and dead ants in the main floor bathroom and bedroom. We didn't see any where we were sleeping or in our bathroom. The cabin is very nice and clean!!!! You can tell it's taken care of.
