We had a wonderful family gathering in Gatlinburg! We were able to see the fall leaves peaking in color and build a snowman all within 4 days! Our cabin had changed owners shortly prior to our arrival and this made our family a little nervous. But the new owners left us reassured that everything would be ok. We were very well accommodated and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The view of Mount LeConte from the family dinner table was gorgeous! It was fun playing games and sipping our hot coffee enjoying each other's company with a mountainous view in the background. Thank you for giving our family the opportunity to build warm memories at your cabin! We will definitely return one day!

Dear Gail and Morse, thank you for a wonderful experience and a great vacation! First of all, out of all cabins we have stayed at before, yours will be the first that we will be coming back to, and again and again. It's like we've finally found home! the Summit is secluded, with an awesome view of Mt. LeConte, dead center of the huge open glass vaulted front of the cabin, yet is a one turn, 5 min drive from the strip! Whereas every other cabin we have experienced, has been at least a long muti-turn drive, most were up very steep grades and far from any grocery or supplies, one was just plain nasty so that we had to get an immediate refund and locate another rental. I have to say, even tho the weather wasnt perfect and, for us, it was too cold for a lot of the usual strip walking, the huge screen tvs, pool table, coffee grinder/maker, hot tub, friendly resident neighbors and just plain cozy and comfortable cabin, made our vacation a wonderful experience, thank you so much, we are already looking forward to the next trip!

This cabin is truly the Summit of cabins! The view is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the large TV in the lower level. I especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch as I drank my coffee each morning. The cabin owner is so hospitable. Her call to check to see if we had safely arrived let me know that she was concerned about us and our first impressions of the cabin. Of all of our great visits to the Smokies, this one has been the best cabin experience with the best customer service. We will return to the Summit.

To anyone seeking a private, clean, home away from home, awesomely comfortable cabin, with a perfect view of Mt. LeConte out the front windows, located a very short and simple drive from downtown Gatlinburg, The Summit will not disappoint. We have enjoyed many vacations to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, most of which were spent in rented cabins and most were nice but this one trumps all the others for several resons, not the least of which is convenience of location. The seclusion is great, yet within 3 minutes of a grocery, really good local restaurants, fuel, and even a liquor store. Then within maybe 5 mins from the cabin you can be on the strip downtown. Another great bonus is that all Sevierville, Pigeon Forge And Gatliburg traffic can be avoided with side routes directly to Severville or I40. Also, the owners have installed remote lockets and issue personal access codes so no hassle of meeting anyone to get keys, just drive up and walk in. There's two bedrooms and a pool room downstairs with a 70 in flatscreen tv for ball games, movies, ect. And another private entry door downs with a sidewalk to the driveway. All the furniture is very nice and comfortable, theres a wrap around front / side porch with a hot tub upstairs, A nice burr coffee grinder and coffee maker, gas logs in the fire place and just all around a very nice experience. Thank you to Gail and Morse, we look foward to many more visits!

The summit was an exceptional location and cabin; A home away from home! It was extremely well equipped in the kitchen, which made meal prep easy breezy. Loved how convenient it was to everything and the view was breathtaking (loved waking up to snow covered mountains peaks). Along with it being well equipped in the kitchen it was an exceptionally clean cabin. The linens in the bathroom as well as the bedrooms where top notch. And Lots of extra blankets stashed away for cold nights. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub as well, clean clean clean (every chance we got we where in it) ! There was not one thing we wished this cabin had or needed. It's a very well kept vacation spot where you can tell the owners take pride in it. Highly recommend "The Summit" to anyone looking to vacation with kids or a group of friends/family! It's a spot friendly enough for families but fun enough for a friend getaway. Few more friendly details for those who are big planners: grocery and liquor store with a 5 min drive and in the same shopping center. There where hair dryers in each bathroom and plenty of laundry and dish soap to last several loads. Hope those reading this enjoy the stay as well as my family did.

I went to The Summit with my mom for a birthday getaway. We had a fabulous time and we absolutely LOVED The Summit Cabin! It was so homey and cozy! We went to the Titanic museum and ate out twice. We spent most of our time relaxing by the fire upstairs, downstairs by the awesome huge tv, and in our fantastic beds at the cabin! The mattresses were like sleeping on clouds!!!! We were not ready to leave and we cannot wait to go back! The owners were great and were there for us when we had questions and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the mountains!

This was a great cabin for the entire family of 8. There were 5 adults and 3 children. We fit comfortably in this 4 bedroom cabin. The boys (adult and children) enjoyed the pool table. Adults and children enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was clean and inviting. Loved not having to haul wood for the fireplace. Gas fireplaces rule! The community snow plow kept the roads clear and passable for us. We were never cabin bound for the entire day. This was a very enjoyable stay for all.

Our group consisted of a party of 4 (two couples). It was the perfect getaway for us. Our stay at the Summit was fantastic. The cabin was so cozy. When we arrived, we found the cabin to be clean, tidy and inviting. Since the temperatures were pretty cold, we were able to enjoy the fireplace. Another evening, we enjoyed the movie, "The Notebook" on the big screen tv downstairs, which was pretty awesome. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Gatlinburg, but not too far off of the beaten path. Although it is tucked away in a somewhat private setting, it is conveniently located just a few miles from the strip. If you enjoy pizza, we recommend the Smoky Mountain Brewery along the Gatlinburg strip...It's delicious! Note: You will find that the owners of this property are great people to deal with. They are very accommodating and will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable!

The Summit was perfect for our family vacation. There were 7 of us, that included my wife and I and our 3 young adult children and my parents. The cabin comfortablely accommodated us. All 4 bedrooms had extremely comfortable king sized beds and linens that seemed new and fresh. We loved the huge front porch with great mountain views. Also, the location was awesome. It was located far enough away from the congestion, but close to the National Park and centrally located to all the activities. Gail the owner made us feel like part of the family and reached out to us numerous times to make sure the vacation exceeded our expectations. She gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our faviorite restaurants were "Hungry Bear" for barbecue, the Wild Plum Tea Room, and Shakes and Dawgs for a quick treat or snack. Our faviorite activities were hiking in the park, fly fishing, horseback riding (the stable and park entrance was around 1 mile away). Gail, thank you... we definitely plan on returning to The Summit!

We spent Spring Break in the Smoky's. We consisted of two families - there were 8 of us total (4 were teens/young adults). We loved being away from the downtown area, yet very close to drive there. We spent time in Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge. The hikes were beautiful.....we saw many waterfalls....in fact, more than we saw when we vacationed in Maui, Hawaii! 2 of the teens did Indoor Skydiving in Pigeon Forge - they had a blast! The cabin was perfect....the lower level rec room was taken over by the teens who enjoyed their own space as well as the pool table. The hot tub was a hit w/ all - especially after a day of hiking or shopping. The front porch boasted a lovely view of Mt. LeConte and several wooden rocking chairs and picnic table. The owners Gail and Morse made us feel very welcome and were never more than a text or call away....which was very reassuring. The Food City Grocery was just a few minutes away, very convenient. We loved the quality linens on the beds.......very comfortable! I'd highly recommend this cabin.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin was exactly as shown and the beds were extremely comfortably. My family loved gathering on front porch in the mornings for coffee in the rocking chairs and the view from was spectacular! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone with or without kids. Your only a short drive from everything. Suggestion for going into Gatlinburg, there is a Park and Ride just down the road from the cabin where you can buy a Trolley pass for $2 from City Hall and ride the Trolley all day or $.50 each time you ride. It's a lot easier than trying to drive around town and find parking.

I expected this cabin to meet all my expectations from the reviews I read but this cabin exceeded all expectations. I have rented many vacation homes over the years and this was the best stocked one I've been in. Gail and Morse were exceedingly helpful and wonderful to deal with. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and, in my opinion, in the best location in that community. It is directly across from the pool, therefore making easy access. From the rockers on the front porch, a view of the mountains was spectacular. Parking was the best. It could easily accommodate up to 5 vehicles and all on level ground, driving straight in. The community location was ideal, in our opinion. It was close enough for those wanting to go into downtown Gatlinburg but far enough out of town for those of us that wanted the peace and serenity of the mountains. Using back roads from there made Pigeon Forge easily traveled with bypassing Gatlinburg. We usually took the trolley into Gatlinburg to avoid the hassle of parking downtown. City Hall is just down the road and has free parking at the trolley stop located there with two trolley lines going to it. The grocery store is only a short distance, as well as a General Dollar store. If you don't want to fight traffic in Gatlinburg, there are several nearby restaurants with free and convenient parking. We especially liked Three Jimmys, only a mile away, for their excellent meal selection and live music. Overall, this rental has the best of everything, from the amenities and beauty of the cabin itself and the location. Mostly, the owners go out of their way to make your vacation a wonderful experience! We hope to make this an annual getaway with our kids and grandkids.

We stayed in this beautiful property for a week with our family of 4 and our in-laws family of four. The house was well equipped to handle 4 boys ranging in age from 2-13. The pool was directly across the street making it easy to run back and forth as you often have to do with small children! The boys loved the gigantic television and pool table and claimed the basement as their space, and the adults loved the hot tub and peaceful rocking chairs to sit and have coffee in the morning. We created a lot of wonderful memories together this week and I can honestly say I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also I was really impressed with the owner, she called on our way to the cabin to check in on us and was very attentive to our needs throughout the stay. If you are looking for a great place to stay on your vacation this is it!!!

We had a great vacation staying at The Summit! We were 4 adults and 5 children aged 10-14. The cabin is in an ideal location, close to Smokey Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, the Arts and Crafts Community, and activities such as white water rafting and zip lining. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The basement with its two bedrooms, pool table, and large screen TV provided the perfect spot for the kids to hang out. We enjoyed the views of the mountains from the front porch and soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Overall, this was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed at and we would definitely recommend The Summit.

Highly recommend! Could not have been happier staying there. Beautiful, clean and spacious cabin with all amenities of home and more. In fact it felt just like being at home. Believe me you won't want to leave! Great view of the monuntains. Close to downtown, grocery store and resturants. We had a great time! Gail and Morse go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

This "home away from home" was even better than we expected. From the moment we arrived, we were comfortable and found the cabin very relaxing. It was very clean, very nicely furnished and has a well equipped kitchen (and grill) that had what we needed to cook our meals. It is conveniently located close to the arts/craft community, as well as to hiking up along Porters Creek and the Little Pigeon River, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed.. We were able to relax by shooting pool, watching football on the giant TV, and soaking in the hot tub. We will most certainly return for another relaxing getaway in the near future.

We spent 3 days at this wonderful cabin. Everything was provided for a relaxing and fun weekend. The view from the front porch was gorgeous! This cabin was very clean, comfortable, and offered all the amenities of home. The hot tub was immaculate and just so nice after a day of sightseeing and hiking. It is close enough to attractions, grocery stores, shopping, yet private enough for a fantastic weekend. The rec room downstairs was really nice for the guys to watch football or play pool. Gail was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. This was a fantastic cabin and we loved it.

We've stayed at a lot of cabins in Gatlinburg, but this one was by far the best. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The owners were very hospitable and it was very easy to book. We have stayed at some cabins on windy, narrow roads, but this one was very easy to get to, and just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. It had a great view, a nice outdoor grill, and a huge tv with surround sound. The keyless entry was also very convenient. With 4 big bedrooms there was plenty of room for guests. We will definitely book this cabin again, for our next vacation.

This is a beautiful cabin with a fantastic view! If you are coming to enjoy the view, this is the cabin for you. The Summit is very clean and welcoming, the oversized king size beds are much more comfortable than a 4-star hotel. We enjoyed our stay here so much, would recommend to all!! The marvelous view from the front deck is breathtaking and the newly planted pansies in the flower boxes just top it off. My husband also enjoyed the pool table in the basement. Next stay we will partake in the hot tub, just no time this trip, but it looked most inviting. Just so happened we were there on Halloween so we very much enjoyed our trip to the strip to see all the great costumes, that was a lot of fun, and also enjoyed a delicious pizza. Can't say enough great things about the Summit!! The owners are tops too!!!

Myself and four siblings met for a long overdue reunion, coming from Cincinnati, Knoxville, and Charlotte. The Summit was a perfect venue for us...quaint, close to town but in the mountains with a beautiful view from a big porch with plenty of sitting options and beautiful flower boxes. Can't say enough about the effort these owners have placed on comfort and needs, awesome attention to detail. There were games, tvs, fully equipped modern kitchen, and we were all impressed with the power strips by each bed! And...decorated for Christmas! A couple of questions we asked of owners were answered Immediately! Convenient parking. Spent first day shopping and moonshine tasting in town, second day just reminiscing and eating in front of the gas fireplace. All of us agreed this would be our go to for any future visits to gatlinburg. SPOTLESS! Thank you for a memorable visit!

While in Gatlinburg/Sevierville attending a cheerleading competition my wife and I, along with another family had the opportunity to stay in this cabin. I must say it was more than I expected. I can't say enough about the owners efforts to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail was so awesome. All you need is yourself and your family, everything else is there. Very Clean and Welcoming.

We stayed in Dec. around Christmas time and the home worked perfectly for us. The decorations were so nice and everything put us in the Holiday Spirit! We normally stay on the opposite side of Gatlinburg but this was so convenient and had great views and mountain feel. The homeowner offered up advice and answered any questions we had so all in all 5-Star stay for us!

We had 3 couples stay in this cabin for our annual church marriage retreat. It was so clean, personal touches , excellent bedding and great accommodations overall. Owners are super nice and great to work with. We will definitely rent again and several couples came and looked at it and took info for rental. Beautiful view and excellent location.

We have stayed in several cabins in the area over the years, but the Summit cabin was the best by far. Not only are the views exquisite, but we found that it was stocked with everything we could possibly need! The location is perfect-rural but not far at all from the Gatlinburg strip, and although the description doesn't show wheelchair/handicap accessibility, the front deck only had a few steps and you could find everything you needed on the main floor, so we'd even recommend it to those who have walking/stair issues. We had absolutely NO problems with contacting the owners and they were so kind, welcoming, and flexible with our plans. If I had to say anything "negative", it would be that you shouldn't plan on getting in and out of the shower quickly because once you get in, you won't want to get out! Such a wonderful cabin and we can NOT wait to get back there!

I am very particular when it comes to finding a vacation rental. Pictures can be deceiving and reviews can be confusing....NOT with this cabin! There is not one bad review and the pictures are exactly what you get! The cabin is literally a home away from home. You cannot want for anything because it has been thought of by the wonderful owners, Gail & Morse. The cabin is not only beautiful but the most comfortable we have experienced. We kept the heat on 65-67 as it is so well built and insulated that you will get hot! The beds are VERY comfortable unlike many we have stayed and the personal touches exceeded my expectations. We WILL return to this cabin when we travel to Gatlinburg again! Thank you for sharing your home with us! The Rinkers, Woodstock, GA
