Owner Supplied Testimonials

I have been going to Gatlinburg for 50 yrs and have never seen such a pretty, clean and well stocked cabin..It even has flash lights and dog kennels..Great find will be back soon...Very close to strip..Cabinets are stocked with cooking supplies ,,,,not just pans...if it rain it even has umbrellas

We recently stayed at "The View" and had a great time. The cabin was very clean and well thought out. The downstairs was perfect for the kids - and we had 6 of them with us! They loved the built in bunk beds, arcade table and having their own space. The kitchen was nice and open and we loved the living room nook - especially with the Olympics on. We also had easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The only thing we had to work around was the wooden spiral staircase, which is the only inside way to go up and downstairs. Having a 3 year old, we just had to be super careful with her around the stairs and going up and down. But, it's also a neat feature to the house! We enjoyed our stay and Cheryl went out of her way to make sure we were settled in and comfortable.

The house was better than the pics and I was very impressed with the amenities provided and the attention to detail! We had a great time and would definitely return to rent again here if we were to come back! The artisan and craft places near the house were wonderful and we brought home many treasures from our stay. The things to-do in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were affordable and plentiful as we found something new to do every single day. I am actually exhausted from this vacation ;) I would recommend this house to anyone thinking of renting and it was plenty large enough for 6 of us (4 adults & 2 kids). Thanks Cheryl and Charles for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Our family of 9 were very comfortable in this beautiful cabin.

The cabin is just beautiful. Staying at a hotel with 5 people can be pretty cramped so we decided to rent a cabin. Found this one online and was a little hesitant because we've never rented a house before. Well when we walked in we were blown away by how big the place was: 3 bedrooms, extra set of bunkbeds, 2 living rooms, 3.5 baths, fully stocked eat in kitchen and 2 huge decks. Plus there is a hot tub and a video game table so parents and kids were all happy. Besides being gorgeous and spacious the cabin was exceptionally clean. I am a stickler for cleanliness and had absolutely no issues with anything. There is also a washer and dryer. (I forgot to bring detergent and there was some there). All of the Gatlinburg attractions are right down the road. As well as a grocery store so you dont have to lug groceries from home. Staying here made our vacation so much more enjoyable. The owners of this property really have thought of everything to make our stay flawless. You can tell that they have poured their hearts into this cabin which truly made us feel at home. Stayed June 28- July 1, 2016.

We all hard a wonderful time at the cabin...It was very big and plenty of room for 8 of us...Everything that you would need to cook with was there...Even a nice grill right outside of the kitchen...The owners are really nice and pleasant to deal with also...We will definitely be back :) ...Thanks again for letting us rent ur cabin...The Millers

The cabin was wonderful. It was very spacious and our boys loved the game console system. The beds were unbelievably comfortable with the softest sheets ever! It had beautiful views from the decks. The kitchen was amazing, and we loved the TVs in every room.

We had an amazing time in Gatlinburg, Tn, "The View" was such a wonderful place to stay. The view from the top deck was awesome, the lower deck was relaxing and felt like sitting on grandma's porch rocking. Cheryl and Charles made this home away from home one of the many highlights of our trip. After traveling 8 hours to get there it was so nice to have this beautiful and clean home to relax in. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were amazing, the towels Oh My Goodness!!! They thought of every little detail in the kitchen. The kids and adults enjoyed the games, what thoughtful and wonderful people.. You must stay at "The View", you will not be disappointed!!!! Sincerely, The Johnson's and The Jones' May - June 2016

We had a wonderful time staying at the View this past weekend. Wish we would have had more time to stay!! The beds were SOOOO comfortable. We really enjoyed the hottub and how close the cabin was to Gatlinburg. Everything was very clean. Huge plus for us bc we were traveling with a toddler was the pack n play and highchair already in the cabin so we didnt have to take our own! We were so surprised by all of the personal touches in the cabin. It made our stay extra special! We will definitely be coming back!!!

I truly fell in love with this place. With the large kitchen, the stocked pantry, fresh eggs, the spacious beds, the hot tub in the master bedroom, hot tub on the deck, oh I could go on & on. Did I mention "The View" ? I love Gatlinburg❤️ & I absolutely loved this cabin!

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a few days this time but truly didn't want to leave! First class from beginning to end! It was everything advertised! We will be back!

I wish we had more time to stay but we all enjoyed the cabin very much.

The View was everything it was described to be. The property was extremely well maintained, clean, and we felt right at home. We were two families of four and fit very comfortably in the house. There was certainly room for more. Cheryl, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond by giving us recommendations on where to go. We would love to come back to The View some day and would definitely recommend it to others. Our only regret was not having more time to actually spend at the cabin and relax, but we look forward to another opportunity to do just that. In the rush to leave, my daughter left her pillow behind and we were fortunate enough to have the cleaning crew, with Cheryl's assistance, return it to us. We were very appreciative of that as they didn't have to go out of their way, but did so in true spirit of southern hospitality. Thanks Cheryl!

Our family very much enjoyed our time at this cabin , only regret was we didn't have enough time to stay longer. The cabin is very clean and decor is very much like home. The bedrooms were spacious and beds are especially comfortable. Kitchen is really large with everything you need and more ! Looking forward to going back enjoying the view and using the gas grill on the deck. The owners are very easy and nice to work with. We will be back soon!

My family and I have stayed in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for many years. No place compares to this cabin! Close enough to town to enjoy all the activities, but far enough for the Smokey Mountain experience. Beds are incredible (understatement)! There was something for everyone to do: foosball, game table, tv's everywhere, hot tub, etc! Stocked with every amenity you could need so you never have to leave. We appreciated Charlie and Cheryl's hospitality and look forward to our future visits!

We were so impressed with this cabin, not only was it super convenient to downtown gatlinburg it was so cozy and relaxing! The kitchen was absolutely beautiful , we enjoyed making dinner in it , and the decor was just perfect throughout ,making you feel right at home.We loved the cabin so much we spent most of our weekend enjoying the hot tub and just relaxing!!! The beds were super comfy as well ... We look forward to many weekends here in the future . Thank you

I have stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg through the years but none compared to The View! It has everything you want and more! It was spacious, comfy and beautifully decorated. We didn't want to get out of the beds. Unbelievable large kitchen with ample seating. Luxurious leather furniture and plenty of entertainment! We are picky about cleanliness and it was immaculate! The owners are wonderful to deal with and make you feel part of the family. And as the name implies, The View provides spectacular views of the gorgeous Smokey Mountains! Thank you Charlie and Cheryl for sharing your beautiful home! We are already planning to return! Mac

This cabin is extremely nice. It is in a convienent location, clean and has very responsive owners. I would not hesitate to return to this cabin. If you are going to Rocky Top Sports it is only about a mile from the facility.

Perfection! This cabin is the most awesome and comfortable cabin we have stayed in. The cabin has everything you could think of needing. Not a room we used that didn't have every amenity you could want. Everything is up scale and had cupboards that were stocked full and you were invited to use whatever you wanted. After the first night, everyone said the next morning, "We want a bed like that". The beds were SO-O-O comfortable. The leather couches were top notch and very comfortable. Can't think of an amenity of that wasn't top notch. Cabin was so welcoming. Loved the Christian influence in the decor - subtle, but there. If we wanted for anything it would be a night light for older folks who have to use the bathroom during the night. Wasn't too excited with the circular staircase, but didn't need to use it as we could use the outside stairs to get to the second floor so didn't make a difference. There were six people in our group - Mom & Dad and two sons and mates. All of us loved the cabin. We give you, your wife and the cabin the highest of recommendations. We can't thank you enough and will certainly hope to spend another vacation at your cabin. The Britton families

This cabin is beautiful. It has the country/bear theme, but isn't overwhelming like some cabins can be. The owners have thought of everything, and that is not an exaggeration. We brought along our bagle (beagle/basset mix). There are not one, but two crates of different sizes, and even a blanket for the dog to use. The kitchen has everything that you need. The grill is fabulous. The beds, while high because of the ample storage underneath, are very comfortable, with plenty of pillows for everyone! The Multicade arcade table was very fun to use. It was warm so we did not use the fireplaces, but they looked very nice. The octagonal sitting area is very nice as well. The towels are super nice, and plentiful. Even the bear proof trash can outside is very nice. My son and I sat on the front porch in the rocking chairs during a light rain. It was so peaceful and nice there. The property was very very clean and well maintained. The owner called us on our first night there to make sure everything was to our liking. They also respond to messages very quickly and are super nice folks. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone, especially those with kids and dogs. There is very very much for everyone to do in the surrounding area. Make sure if you like Mexican cuisine, you check out No Way Jose's in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. For pizza, go for the Mellow Mushroom. Very very tasty. I could go on and on about this cabin, and I know I have forgotten a lot, but trust me it was worth the money!

It's a two level house. Two bedrooms/master baths are down stairs. Downstairs also has a small living room and two built in "bunk beds" + fold-out couch. . There is also a very popular table game Pacman. The hot tub is off the lower level too. It was so full of water that one adult and 3 little kids nearly overflowed it. If you go up the spiral stairs or up the exterior stairs you enter the top level. That level has a master bedroom/bath plus an in room whirlpool. Upper level has a full kitchen, eating area, fireplace and big corner nook. All the bedrooms have Direct tv as does the kitchen and both up and down gathering areas. Plenty of tv's! Also very high speed wifi!! It's a nice place.

The View cabin is absolutely amazing!! The Neglia's thought of everything you need and has stocked the cabin accordingly. They even stocked things that you didn't even realize you needed....until you needed it. We had 8 adults stay in the cabin and had plenty of room. The cabin is in a perfect location in my opinion. Far enough away from the hubbub of Gatlinburg, but close enough that it's a quick trip into town if that's what you choose to do. There's a grocery store about 5 minutes away with no traffic. The floor plan of the cabin allows for enough room for everyone to meet in one area and enough nooks to go to in order to decompress. And I have to admit, the biggest draw for EVERYONE between the ages of 14 and 50+ was the arcade table. We all got excited over that game table!! Thank you to the Neglia's for a great weekend with family and a lot of wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!
