Incredibly relaxing Swiss-style chalet located in beautiful Chalet Village in the Gatlinburg City limits. Fully furnished home, complete with full dinner service, kitchen utensils and linens. Completely furnished with all appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer, coffeemaker, blender, toaster and oven.
Two large and spacious decks overlooking a tranquil wooded setting. A creek flows adjacent to the house providing a relaxing backdrop. Rocking chairs provide a great gathering place on the upper deck along with a grill. The lower deck provides a new digital four-person hot tub and a porch swing.
All bedrooms are on the lower floor. The master bedroom contains a private master bath while a second bathroom serves the other two bedrooms. All bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds with french doors opening up directly onto the lower deck. All bedrooms have brand new furniture and bedding.
The second floor is a large open area with french doors opening up to the upper deck and windows galore. This great room provides a sense of being directly up in the trees. A billiards table is provided along with a 50" wide screen TV. This home also features free, unlimited long distance phone and free WIFI. This floor has brand new hardwood floors. The kitchen is very spacious with ample counter and cupboard space, brand new stainless appliances and a solid surface counter tops. A large stone fireplace anchors the center of the room.
This is my personal vacation home and I know you will fall in love with it.
However, although it maintains its quaint mountain charm this town of 3,000 residents often swells to 20,000 people who come to enjoy attractions and leisure amenities that rival large tourist destinations. It is part of the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge- Sevierville tourist destination, the 7th most popular tourist area in the USA.
Gatlinburg is home to Hard Rock Cafe, TGIF, Corky's BBQ along with some great local restaurants. The largest shark tunnel Aquarium, Ripley's Aquarium is a must see. Gatlinburg is also home to a large craft zone featuring mountain artists, sculpters and other artisans who have lived in these mountains for generations.
There are zip lines, nearby whitewater rafting, great hiking, golf, outlet mall shopping, and Gatlinburg even has even its own ski resort; Ober Gatlinburg, complete with a tram connecting downtown to the ski resort.
But my favorite attraction is the hundreds of black bears who live in these mountains and at times venture down to stroll along the city streets.
There is no place like Gatlinburg !

Reviews for this vacation chalet rental in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. But if you have 6 peoples staying there is not enough hot water but for one at a time to take a shower. and then then the next person had to wait a while before he could take one So if you wanting to leave early you better get up EARLY and get started. Also it says there is a tv in each bedroom, WRONG one did not have it. there were dirty glasses in the cabinet and the over looked like it had never been cleaned. We had three couples staying in this cabin so we expected to have 3 tv's.
