It’s the perfect getaway for those that have location, privacy, nature & convenience on their checklist. It also has mountain, city & tram views! Excellent paved, private parking pad , level, with enough room for four cars. That’s a rare find in the mountains!

If you’re looking for the amenities of home...We’ve got you covered

Make memories with family as you gather at the kitchen bar . Bake some cookies, a holiday meal, crockpot dinner or grill out. Help yourself to the fully equipped kitchen with; pots & pans, dishes & utensils, a blender, crockpot, Jenn Air grill, microwave & dishwasher. You’ll enjoy the view from the kitchen window, almost as much as the memories!

Relax in the den, tastefully decorated with new furniture, one of a kind hand carved wall sculptures, cabin themed accessories & even a cabin themed ceiling fan. Fire up the wood burning stove and enjoy a movie from the DVD collection, watch a football game on satellite, browse the internet with free wifi, play a board game from our selections, or simply curl up and read a good book. We have a collection of books that should cover everyone... We even have BIG BOOKS! Not the ones with 500 pages (I’m speaking to the kids now... ), it’s the REALLY BIG paperboard type books that kids love to flip through! Take it from me ~ even big kids love them~

Grab a glass of sweet tea, step out onto the upper deck & have a seat in one of the rockers. There’s a new patio set & extra chairs too! Enjoy the view of the tram, passing less than 200 ft away from the deck. Give an occasional wave, tram riders will gladly reciprocate. No worries about privacy, you’re tucked away just enough to be able to shadow yourself beneath the trees if you choose. You’ll also enjoy the mountain view. Every day you are met with a different mural. Spend a week with us and you’ll notice how drastically these beautiful mountains can change within minutes. Try counting the layers of mountains.. I’ve made it to 11 or 12 layers back! See my pictures to see the dramatic changes you’ll witness daily. Some of them I zoomed to give the clearest view online, but in person... that’s where you get the full effect! After the sun sets, enjoy the twinkling lights of the city from the deck. You’ll have a straight line of view to the Space Needle. If you are visiting on July 4 th, Christmas or New Years, you are in for an extra special treat, as they light the Space Needle with different colors, do a ball drop and have a fireworks show right atop the space needle for New Years. On July 4th you can watch the downtown fireworks and catch a glimpse of the parade and other festivities over downtown Gatlinburg. Imagine your front row seat to the lights, from your very own deck!

On the lower level you’ll find 3 bedrooms, each with their own theme, flat screen tvs, and private access to the deck. On the deck, the hot tub and porch swing await you. On the lower level you’ll also find the washer/dryer, and a full bath. (There is also a full bath upstairs).

Grandview is known for an abundance of wildlife. Chances are, you will see a bear...or four :-) Enjoy them from the deck~ It’s an unforgettable experience witnessing their natural characteristics and beauty in its true form.

These are your memories ~ come join us, and make them good ones! We’d loved to have you!!

Great Time At Grandview!

June 17, 2015

My husband and I and our 2 young adult children stayed 4 nights at Grandview. The cabin felt just like home and had plenty of room for everybody. The 3 bedrooms and 1 of the full baths and laundry area are downstairs which worked out perfect for our "early to bed" daughter as she could go to sleep and not be disturbed if we were still up and about upstairs in the main living area and kitchen. Both levels have big roomy decks to enjoy watching the amazing sunrises or just to sit and enjoy nature. The lower deck has a big hot tub, too. Late one evening we were thrilled to see a mama bear and her 2 small cubs come wandering into the backyard! We watched with wide eyed wonder as the cubs climbed trees. Here is my video of that visit: https://youtu.be/c6Wkg39DRWE The very next night we got to see another bear come into the backyard and hang out for awhile. He sat and gave himself a good scratch before moving on. I was also thrilled to hear Barred Owls close by. I couldn't have asked for a better cabin. We will definitely be back! Pat D.

Owner's reply:

Pat~Thank you so much for sharing your videos! I was amazed at the size of the baby cubs (I've never seen any that tiny :) I learned a lot from you, about some of the wildlife I hadn't yet explored, and my daughter was fascinated with your owl lesson. She's volunteering at the Wildlife Preserve this summer and had the chance to share your story about the owl with all the little ones at camp :) It was truly a pleasure, and we look forward to more of your stories in the future. Take care! Lynn

My husband and I met our kids/grandkids from Atlanta, GA at this property for the holiday weekend. The cabin was very clean, nicely appointed and convenient to both downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg winter sporting attractions. It is also close to the state park for hiking and exploration. The view from the cabin was tremendous, and we can only imagine what it would be like during different seasons of the year. Although, we were not fans of the downtown Gatlinburg area, we loved the cabin and all that it had to offer. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Excellent option close to downtown gatlinburg, yet in the woods. -
This property is amazingly close to Gatlinburg downtown and yet secluded enough from the hustle and bustle. Nice views, well kept property, equipped kitchen.

Mimi and the Girls -
Girls only week was perfect. We could go from downtown Gatlinburg into our hot tub watching the tram go by within 5 minutes. The cabin is 1 mile from downtown action. In the 25 years of visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge we've never had a kitchen so equipped - lacking nothing. Fantastic views from every room in the house, easy access to cabin and flat parking. All 3 bedrooms are downstairs and each have their own access to hot tub and porch swing. The owners are on top of any issue you may have. Lynn could not be any more accommodating from finding the best place to eat.... to emailing you the menu and directions. She is FANTASTIC to work with. Super place to stay and great folks to rent from. The best of everything just like family .... Lynn and Chris, You truly have been blessed and we appreciate you sharing your home with us.

Delightful -
Delightful, clean, and aptly named cabin. Very conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg. The owners are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our family of eight was very comfortable and had a wonderful visit. (Also noteworthy- the driveway/parking is easy & accessible. This was clearly not the case with many other cabins nearby). Thank you!

Perfect! -
We took a family of 5 plus a friend for the weekend. This cabin is one of the cleanest rentals I have ever been in. The location is perfect, the views are some of the best I have seen in Gatlinburg. The wood burning fireplace is a nice addition that you cannot always get. The next time we go to Gatlinburg, I will not spend my normal 2-3 hours researching to find a place that I like. I will go straight to Grandview and check availability. The owners are extremely responsive and made everything very easy.

This is a wonderful cabin and an excellent host -
Upon arrival, we were greeted with an entrance to the cabin that draws you in. We entered the cabin to a spacious and extremely well furnished cabin. The main level view across Gatlinburg was breath taking. The layout and fireplace completed the overall feel of a home away from home. On the counter, Lynn had taken the time to supply plenty of suggestions for best "bear" watching times, tourists attractions and even the best place to go pick up some groceries. The rooms were on the bottom level and even though there was only the wife, granddaughter and myself, the three rooms were large and were absolutely stunning. Lynn was kind enough to check in with us and offered her suggestions as to the best places to go visit.... and those to avoid.... We had a wonderful time and unfortunately we were there during bear hibernation, but plan to make the trip again to continue are exploration of the trails and next visit will be during bear season!!! Also... the granddaughter loved looking for the bear scratchings, the bear decorations on the front door, and of course the hottub! If you have the opportunity, This is one place I highly recommend!

Perfect Mountain Getaway -
We fell in love with this place upon arrival! First, booking the cabin was made very easy by the property owners. They went far out of their way to accommodate us. The cabin was spotless and had all of the amenities one could want. This location is perfect because we could choose to either take part in the many activities and attractions less than 2 miles away or remain in the cabin with total silence and privacy. This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway but has plenty of room for a friend or family trip. We hope to return ASAP. Last but not least, the balcony hot tub melted our stress away and has an amazing view that would be nearly impossible to beat.

Gatlinburg Gals -
We are a group of 4 best-girlfriends that have been coming to the Smoky Mountains for many years, but this was our first time at this cabin. From the moment we walked in the front door we loved how cozy and inviting it was. We spent most of our time on the upper deck talking, laughing, and admiring the beautiful view. At night when it simply got too chilly to sit outside any longer, we really enjoyed the woodburning stove! There was even some wood already brought in for us and another supply right by the front door...that is an amenity we have never had before!! We cooked most of our meals in and found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. The communication with the owners was great! Lynn even texted us our first morning there to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed! Loved all the recommendations for attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc in the guest book in the kitchen. We found it to be a very personal touch and can tell that the owners value their guests enough to share so much information about the area. My recommendations for future guests....go to Cades Cove and plan to spend a few hours there!! We also ate at the Cherokee Grill...steaks were delicious as well as the Maine crabcakes, and it is not as pricey as other nearby places. Would love to come back to this cabin again in the future....great location with a view, and yet close to town when you want to go out. Thanks Lynn and Chris for sharing your "Grandview" with us!!

Family of seven -
This was the first year we had taken our grandsons where they were old enough to really enjoy the view. They loved looking out the big windows to see the Tram, Space Needle and the mountains in the distance. The whole family loved the view and the Chalet. The people who own it are some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. You were made to feel at home in their home away from home. It was easy to get to and great parking. We will for sure be booking Grandview again.

Lovely cabin! -
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this particular cabin. It was our first trip out to the Smokey Mountains and we were not disappointed. The location of this cabin was perfect! We were able to take a quick five minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg to experience the bustle when we wanted to, however, at the same time, we were far enough into the mountains to feel connected to nature when that was what we wanted to do. We loved the view from the balcony and ate almost every meal out there just to take in the view. One of our favorite memories of out trip was swimming at one of the local private pools that we had access to with this cabin. It was a great way to spend out time when it was too hot to hike. Overall, we were very pleased with out stay at this cabin. The owner, Lynn, was also incredibly welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Memories to last a life time! -
First of all Lynn and Chris the owners are the kindest most helpful owners we ever met. She texted me when I needed help or was lost and could figure out where we were and direct us to where we needed to go. We shared all of exciting adventures to having a mama bear and her three cubs welcomed us as soon as we walked in! We went to the upper deck and there were the bears! The home was inviting and fit us all perfectly. I have a teenager and twins and we all slept perfectly. We loved all the towels and having the laundry on hand. We were pleasantly surprised by the double shower head bathroom upstairs. We made dinner and watch movies and played games. We cant begin to tell you how much fun we had and all the adventures we encountered. The home was so fun being up in the woods yet so close to everything. The owners sent out and email explaining everything and suggestions for food, attractions before hand and had a organized binder in Grandview as well. Nothing but the positive in every aspect from this wonderful home~

Without Question THE Best Cabin available in Gatlinburg -
I literally spent hours and days searching for a cabin in Gatlinburg. It was our first time visiting the area and I wanted it to be a great experience for all 8 of us. I also have a child with special needs to consider when reviewing properties. Now, having been to the cabin and the area, the Grandview is without question the best cabin. It is absolutely the best location, easy access to everywhere, the best view and the cleanest and nicest that we saw in the area. It slept 8 people comfortably (4 kids - 2 downstairs and 2 on the fold out couch) and (4 adults - 2 each in the downstairs bedrooms). The owners were over-the-top nice, professional and made preparing for the trip so easy. Access to the strip is literally "down the mountain" but its and easy drive and far enough away that you get the peace and quite of being out "in the woods". Everything in the cabin was there that we needed. It is kept up nicely and the furniture and bedding is comfortable. You're not going to find a better place on that mountain. I forgot to mention it was very reasonably priced compared to all the other cabins I looked at. The booking process was simple and easy. You won't be disappointed in choosing the Grandview. We will definitely be returning to stay at the Grandview. Thanks Chris and Lynn for everything!

Time stood still -
My wife and I honeymooned in Gatlinburg 21 years ago. We stayed in a Hotel/Suite at the bottom of Ski Mountain Rd.....21 years later we brought our three adult children back to Gatlinburg, I searched the web high and low to find the perfect cabin for our needs and I nailed it when I booked Lynn & Chris's Grandview Cabin (just one mile from where we honeymooned) Grandview is a perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the everyday grind, time stood still for our family up there, we stayed for 5 days but it seemed like 2 weeks !!! We did the traditional planning of doing things in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg but only got to about half of them....it was just way too relaxing to leave Grandview. The accommodations were absolutely perfect for a family like ours. We've already decided we'll definitely go back. We kinda have too since we were the unlucky ones that didn't see any bears but i know Lynn was wishing her heart away to send some our way :-) speaking of Lynn, she is wonderful to work with, unbelievably accommodating as well as compassionate about your stay. You won't be disappointed with your choice when you chose Grandview as your vacation destination.

Even Better Than Expected! -
We wanted to find a place for our family to enjoy Gatlinburg and we really found the ideal spot. This cabin offered privacy and breathtaking views while being located a few minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg. On top of that the price was competitive if not more reasonable than other properties, many of which are located miles from the attractions. The next time we are considering a vacation in Gatlinburg we will look no further than this lovely cabin.

Addicting -
I have been coming to the mountains for over 40 years. This was one of the best trips EVER. The porch on this home is addictive. All you want to do is just sit and enjoy. The view is awesome, the privacy is fantastic and the surroundings make you feel like you are far away from everything, when in reality you are just a few minutes away from all the action. I would suggest anyone that plans to stay here, to set your alarm so you don't miss the fantastic sunrises. This will be hard to do, since the bedrooms are so comfortable, that you don't want to leave them. If you are a bear fanatic like me, you may get lucky and see them, or they may come knock on the door and you miss them. I would tell everybody that intends to rent this home, take time to slow down and enjoy the home. Lynn is fantastic to work with and has thought of everything to make your stay the best.

Cabin for peace and quiet -
The cabin was great. Lynn was wonderful to work with. She responded right away to any questions we had. The photos and description was exactly as shown and stated. The view of Gatlinburg lights at night was beautiful. The kids loved watching the tram to Ober Gatlinburg pass and wave to the passengers as we sat in the hot tub. You are 5 minutes or less to Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean and kept up. Wooded but felt very safe. TV's in all bedrooms and living room, games, books for kids and DVD's. Close to the national park, hiking, easy access to Cades Cove and close to the bypass to avoid all the traffic. Any type of food you want is 5 minutes away in Gatlinburg or use the bypass and go to Pigeon Forge for more choices. We will definitely be back. I would recommend this cabin.

You are missing a real treat if you do not stay here!!! -
Home is absolutely immaculate. The view is to die for overlooking downtown Gatlinburg. The bears walked up to the porch. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, and hot tub. You are very close to Gatlinburg strip, and can use the bypass to avoid the strip to go to Pigeon Forge. Smoky Mountain Park is 5 mins away.

My family and I had a fabulous time at this very comfortable cabin!! It was very convenient and close to town but far enough out to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. Great place to stay! -
The view at this chalet is undoubtedly the best you can find. It has a perfect view of the twinkling city lights at night. During the day, you can watch the tram go by and admire the beautiful mountain views. The kids loved waving to the tram as it went by. The sunrise over the mountains in the morning was beautiful. The chalet had games for the kids and movies. The chalet was the best! I can't wait to go stay again!!
