“Awesome getaway in Septmeber”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2015

This lakefront cottage was perfect for the two of us. It is simple, cozy and had everything necessary for comfort. The bedroom which was likely converted from a enclosed porch allowed us to wake up every morning to a beautiful view of the sun rise over the lake with a misty fog. Expect rustic charm. Outdoor seating, fire pit and the shady lot all add to the relaxing atmosphere of this cabin. Our host, Bob was very accommodating and easily available to answer any questions. The pontoon boat was an added pleasure to enjoy the lake. I look forward to return next year in the Fall. It will be a great place to use as a base to travel for a color tour. Last of all but not the least, it was clean! No regrets on this rental.

“Wonderful Vacation”

Had everything possible for adults and children to do. Beautiful place, comfortable, everything you could need. Had a wonderful time. My husband, myself, my brother, sister in law, and 3 grand children. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

“Great Vacation Stay”

We spent the week at this cabin having a wonderful time. Bob was great to work with and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We had a relaxing time on the lake and at the bon fire in the evenings. We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a leisurely vacation stay.

“Great place!”

My family and I had a great time. The place was exactly as Bob said it was. All the kids had fun on the boat, the basketball court and the trampoline. Looking forward to going back some time.

“Family Vacation Success”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2012

We had a great time. Beautiful lake. Friendly neighbors. Kids loved fishing off the dock. Awesome rides on the tube behind the boat. (very courteous boaters). Caught enough fish for dinner. Enjoyed the shade- it kept the cottage cool. Nice deck for a cookout. Made full use of the paddle boat. Nice location for a quick trip to the Bridge/Mystery Spot, etc. and if we forgot anything...Gaylord is 5 minutes away. Sportsmen will like that Jay's Sporting Goods is only a 7 minute drive. Really enjoyed our time at the Lake and we had everything we needed at the cottage.

“Wonderful time on a beautiful, quiet lake.”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2012

The cottage and lake were perfect for us (3 adults, 4 kids). We enjoyed the beautiful lake most days and there was plenty of outdoor seating to spend most of our time outside. The lake was quiet and neighbors were nice. Loved the dock, paddle boat, and row boat! The cottage had everything we needed. Great waking up in master bedroom to the view of the lake. Saw loons and a bald eagle...the kids loved the black squirrels. We also loved downtown Gaylord...had ice cream twice and ate at the Sugar Bowl (good family restaurant). Great memories were made!

“Beautiful property...”

Fully outfitted log cabin was great for staying put and not having to run out to the store for small things.... Stayed with my 5 kids- they loved the lake and use of the boats and raft. Great family memories. The canopy of trees provides ideal shade for the cabin all day and allows for wonderful mornings and evenings on the deck and porch. Almost no mosquitoes--amazing!!! Bob K. was a delight to work with, and very attentive to our needs. The only negative surprise during our stay was that there is no A/C and we had a heat wave during our week. No regrets, had a great time.
