Perfect escape

September 5, 2013

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend and had a blast. The cabin has 2 queen beds (bunks) in a small room and a large camper to accomodate everyone else. It was a perfect set-up for 2 families. We had a great time exploring the lake and the islands with the kids and found some nice sand beaches. We didn't have a lot of luck fishing, though but that's how it goes sometimes. We brought our ATV's and were able to ride right from the camp. There are tons of roads and trails to hit (and got our fill of blackberries on the way). This side of the lake has few camps, we saw one other person as they were walking but that was it. This is exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a little bit of rustic with some comforts, this is for you too.
