“Perfectly peaceful”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2016

We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay on Lower Wilson Pond. Owner gave us access to canoe and kayak, paddles and life jackets so we paddled every day. Lake is clear, and swimming was refreshingly cool. The cabin was dog friendly and worked well for our dogs and us. We never even went upstairs to the second bedroom and bathroom since there was just the two of us. Main floor has king bed in bedroom with full bathroom across the hall. It is truly a log cabin with no air conditioning. Windows allow good cross breezes and lets the sounds of birds and loons inside. We didn't use TVs, but they are available. Books and games also available. Kitchen and nice outside grill were all we needed. Ceiling fan and dishwasher were not working, but we didn't mind. We will go stay there again as soon as we have the opportunity!
