“Relaxing holiday!”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2015

We stayed there for 2 nights in mid September. Elizabeth and her cousin were great hosts. The house is well stocked with all kitchen essentials, gas grill, patio furniture, etc. Kids enjoyed feeding the horses, geese, turkey and deer. The tour of the property in the ATV was the highlight of the trip for us. If one were to go in expecting a fully upgraded, high end hotel like facility then one might be disappointed. For a country house experience, within driving distance from the city, and a relaxing family time, this place is perfect.

“Peace and Tranquilty in the Catskills”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

My husband Michael and I recently stayed in the Carriage House at Pine Ridge Farms. We found the grounds and house to be as advertised on the website. Very picturesque scenery in a quiet and charming neighborhood. The Carriage House is spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The carriage house has all of the amenities that you would need to prepare a delicious gourmet meal and to enjoy ones stay. The property owner Liz Gioja was more than accommodating without being intrusive. She is very friendly and does her best to make you feel at home. My husband and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary while we were there and returned from dinner to find a nice bottle of Champagne waiting for us outside the front door. Liz also took us on an ATV tour of the property shortly after arriving and unpacking. These are just a couple of examples of the things that Liz did to ensure that we had a very enjoyable stay. If your looking for beauty, peace and tranquility in a friendly atmosphere I would highly recommend staying here. Susan Bonacquisti

“Love nature? This is your vacation place!”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2013

Sitting in the private Carriage House backyard we saw at least nine species of animals come to visit, some longer than others. We fed wild geese, turkeys, saw many deer come, rabbits, Liz's horses, birds and more. It was the epitome of peaceful, with a spectacular view of manicured acres surrounded by forest and mountains as far as the eye could see. Great for walks, hikes, or just sitting on the chairs or lying in the hammock. Grills, all cooking supplies and self-cleaning oven for those who wish to cook. Coffee maker, dishes, spices etc. Washer/dryer in your suite! Liz's place would have rated a full 5 stars from me, but one bedroom had no air conditioning and depended on the one in the nearby living room, and the other had no air conditioning or window. We will keep in mind the above and try to work around the air conditioning issue by bringing a portable one, because we would love to return. Between Liz's sincere interest in seeing that you are happy, along with her tour A.T.V. ride around the property, horseback riding if you work it in, backyard campfire and more - it's a vacation where you don't have to go anyplace to feel that you have seen it all and done a lot. Congrats Liz, and hope to visit your place again soon!
