This is a very lovely cabin, located a quiet community, nestled in trees. 1 - Very kid friendly! We really appreciated the little touches hosts did to make the home very kid friendly. - there are barriers for stair-cases to prevent your child from getting on the stairs - stepping stools for bathroom sinks - a 'high chair' for kids - plenty of unbreakable, kids-safe (plastic) cups and plates. - lots of games and DVDs to keep the kids entertained - pull out beds for kids 2) Lovely Cabin - The cabin is very spacious with 2 bathrooms. Great for large parties. - very nice deck with outdoor furniture. Enjoy a nice meal or drink with a fabulous view of the golf course - well appointed kitchen with all the utensils and pantry items - wifi provided 3 ) Location - Located in a very quiet community - 2 mins drive from pine mountain lake. very swimmable lake - very close to Groveland downtown to stock up on groceries...etc - 30 mins from Yosemite park west entrance (hwy 120) and 1 hr from Yosemite valley 4) Hosts - booking was very easy and quick. - hosts answered all questions promptly. - reachable via email & text (SMS) - provided accurate step-by-step directions and detailed instructions - checked with us after we checked in to make sure every thing was ok 5) Tips for stay - cell phone service can be sparse. My T-mobile didn't have cell service. But I was able to make calls using wifi-calling using cabin's wifi. Also apps like WhatsApp work great.

The home was perfect for us. The rooms had nice linens, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and condiments like oil and seasonings to cook with, which saved on transporting those things from home or buying at the store. We spent a lot of time in the bonus room watching movies and playing games which they had a nice supply of both. The home is immaculate and the neighbor is super charming for walks. We walked to the beach each morning. The host sends you a list of things to do locally, which we actually found very helpful in referencing when our original plans didn't work out. They also kept a book in the home of local menus and brochures of the activities which we used on our stay too. Would recommend this home highly

We had a wonderful time at Pine Mountain Getaway, we were 2 families with 4 kids in total and felt at home right away....Everything was perfect! The house is very clean and roomy and can accommodate up to 8 people (3 bedrooms) it is so calm and peaceful and so nicely decorated. The view on the golf is amazing, the big terrace invites you to relax right away! Also, especially with 4 young kids, there is a huge bonus room upstairs with everything a child is looking for!!! No need to bring toys! You have everything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped and nothing was missing! Thank you so much Vineet and Debi ! You are extremely kind and thoughtful and all your check-in instructions were very clear and helpful! Overall, our best stay in Groveland and we will definitely come back!

This was one of the best vacation rentals I've stayed at! The house was clean and stocked full of everything you could ask for, from cooking supplies, to movies/DVDs, games, toiletries, etc. Debi was always extremely quick and courteous in answering all emails. I would absolutely stay at this place again, and highly recommend it for anyone planning to visit the Yosemite area.
April 7th 2015.....My family (my husband, myself and our four boys aged 2-11) had an amazing visit to the Pine Mountain Getaway! The location was perfect for a day trip to Yosemite (a beautiful hour drive) or a ten minute walk down to Dunn court beach to play by the lake. The owner even had beach toys and supplies to use. We also enjoyed spending a day getting to know Groveland. The "pizza factory" pizza was delicious, and the grocery selection at Mar-val's was surprisingly great! We also picked up some steaks from the meat market in town and they were nice and fresh. One day we made the approximately 30 minute trip out to Jamestown to pan for gold, and we had a blast! Jamestown was such a cute little town and we highly recommend stopping at Morelias mexican restaurant because it was amazing! There was lots to do in the area, but the house itself was perfect for our family of six. Our boys loved the upstairs game room that was well stocked with toys and games. And the bedroom was perfect for the four of them to sleep together upstairs. My husband and I loved the kitchen that was well stocked with everything you could need (even Bisquik for pancakes in the morning). We also loved the fireplace and deck for relaxing and the washer and dryer for cleaning clothes before heading home. We also saw tons of wild life on our trip. The deer are definitely abundant in the area. Staying in this home felt like the luxury of staying in a hotel with the comforts of home. We had such an amazing time and we can't wait to go back!
