“Great 3 Bedroom Apartment in a Perfect Location”
My son and two of his university friends rented this apartment for their summer study abroad/internships in Guadalajara (June, July and August 2016). Richard was wonderful to deal with: he was always very responsive and accommodating. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood in Guadalajara, close and convenient to everything. The neighborhood is centrally located, near Chapultapec and evening activities, and yet it is quiet at night and the apartment and neighborhood felt safe and secure. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. It was also really nice to have a living room with a dining area for all of the roommates to hang out together or share a meal. Each bedroom was a good size with ample storage and the beds were clean and comfortable. Although the apartment does not have air conditioning, there are ceiling fans throughout which truly keep it comfortable (and it really is not that humid or hot in Guadalajara, even in August). The bathrooms were clean and modern. A private washer and dryer was also provided within the unit which made doing laundry much less of a chore. Overall, Richard was a great landlord and the apartment was really perfect which made for a memorable summer in Guadalajara.
“Perfect home base”
This condo was the perfect place to call home in Guadalajara for a week. It was fairly central to everything, near lots of really good food, close to gas and convenience stores (the Oxxo had everytbing we could possibly need in a pinch. All we needed was a clean place to sleep at night and this place was perfect! Five of us had more than enough room in the three bedrooms. Having our own washing machine made life a lot easier even though we hadn't planned on doing laundry while on vacation. Stuff happens! Richard also recommended Chop Cafe (a 5 minute walk away) and we can't say enough good things about it! We went for dinner one the first night and ended up going back for breakfast two or three times. Convenient, well priced, delicious food and the service was fantastic! Samy from Chop took us under his wing and always made sure we were taken care of even if we weren't sitting in his section. Thanks again for the great place to stay, Richard!
“Great city, great place”
The condo is located in a very nice residential area of Guadalajara. Taxi from downtown was $3-$4. The place was clean and furnished. It was like home.
