Handsome Pembroke 4 bedroom family home with large swimming pool:10 min. walk to Front Street.

$5750.00 per week with $200.00 of Electricity and Water included: any overage will be paid for by the tenant.

Sleeps up to 9, with an additional 2 children at $50.00 per child per night on inflatable mattresses.

Our comfortable home, is beautifully situated in an elegant district not 500 yards from Front Street. Surrounded by lush gardens for privacy and a sparkling pool for immediate enjoyment, wonderful restaurants and hotels abound in this area, and an evening stroll to window shop in Hamilton is a pleasant way to wind up the day.

The ferry terminal is on Front Street at Albouys Point: the boat will take you across the Great Sound all the way to Naval Dockyard (with spectacular museums, shops and cafes and a great beach and dining pavilion at the extreme west end of the island), or Somerset Bridge- the smallest drawbridge in the world. There are several other stops as well, each with connecting bus access. Return to Hamilton on the bus and you will pass all the fabled beaches of the South Shore including Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay and Elbow Beach, plus many other smaller but no less lovely coves of pink sand waiting for you and your picnic. Your closest beach on the south coast would be Elbow Beach with its lovely hotel for a lunch time treat. The beach is about 10-12 minutes away from the house by taxi or moped.

The bus terminal in Hamilton will allow you to easily hop aboard for a direct run out to St. Georges, the ancient capital (founded in 1612). The town is filled with beautiful old houses and shops, pubs and cafes, museums and entertainment as well as forts, a great golf course and several calm and very delectable beaches. There are several routes back- don 't overlook the pretty run along the North Shore- the ocean is almost always in view along this route. The tranquil waters in intense green and turquoise are relieved by intermittent beaches such as Shelly Bay with its play park for small children and treasure trove of shells '''. Another bus route will take you down the South Shore past the fabled Mid-Ocean golf course, John Smiths Bay beach and the great coastal park at Spittal Pond. Throughout the island, refreshments can be found at the numerous cafes: many grocery stores offer takeout as well and feature local delicacies. Mopeds provide the greatest flexibility for getting around, but those with small children will prefer the bus and taxi alternatives.

House amenities include:

Housekeeper on the property who meets guests and provides some maid services- please note: a generous gratuity is customary.

Two bedrooms have Queen beds, and the remaining 2 bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each room, 1 single bed in the basement den.

A crib can be rented for an infant for $10.00 a week: the crib needs to be reserved in advance and picked up by the tenant 's taxi driver on the day of arrival and returned at the conclusion of the tenancy. These arrangements will be confirmed on each reservation.

A hair dryer is provided in the modern bathrooms.Many Bermuda homes feature showers as they tend to be more water conserving- and water is a valuable resource in Bermuda as each house captures and processes its own from rainfall.

The kitchen is very well equipped and includes extra freezer space, all major appliances including a microwave oven, coffee maker etc. Laundry facility available, with iron and board in a separate room. There is a formal dining room that seats 6 comfortably, and an ample and gracious livingroom and sun room.

Nearest Grocery Store is the Garden Market and the gourmet emporium known as Miles Supermarket is a 15 minute walk away
