Area Information
This Chalet is built on a wooded ridge with several other A-Frame homes. It is an unique area as it was part of the Dogpatch USA Theme Park built in the 1970's. It is walking distance to the old park where you can still see parts of the famous theme park created from the Al Capps' comic strip. There are friendly home owners and also Chalets that are just vacations homes. Walking distance to the Scooters Restaurant that serves a great Prime Rib and other favorite sandwiches. Of course the Buffalo National River is less than 10 minutes away that offers beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming and fishing and the most popular floating the Amazing one of a kind Buffalo National River! There is a small rural town just a short drive from Marble Mountain Chalet where you can watch the Elk Herds and photo the Majestic Ozark Mountains! Nature Lovers' Paradise!
