“A perfect location!”

Reviewed 7 Mar 2017

Having traveled to Hawaii several times, this was one of the best visits for myself and my family because of this property. This was my first time staying at this property and will not be my last. Aside from the home being spacious and newly remodeled, the location was unbeatable. The beach was off the back door and every morning was a picturesque sunrise. The snorkling at this location was awesome! Thousands of fish, several sea turtles and octupus were there. When I took a kayak out, we even met up with a friendly sea lion. If you want to experience all that Hawaii has to offer, this property is it.

Awesome time at Sunset House
Our family of 4 very much enjoyed the tranquil, beautiful vibe staying here. The beach was wonderful with other excellent beaches nearby. We felt at home. There were some improvements that could be done but overall did not detract from our stay

Sunset House is Awesome
When we arrived we were greeted by the manager Sean Wingate. A very nice and cordial guy. He took us around a bit and made us feel welcomed. We unloaded and headed for the beach. The walk wasn't too far and the beach was awesome for swimming especially with our 4 year old grand daughter. After getting back we had family and friends come over for dinner. The house has everything, grill pit outside, all the glassware, pots, etc you need.
The best part of the stay was the upper level Master Bedroom. The kids had the two bedrooms downstairs. With the prevailing trade winds blowing, it was very nice to sleep at night. No A/C required.
I would recommend this house to anyone and can't wait to get back.

"Unique house to enjor a beach vacation!"
Spend 5 nights there with three yound kids and my parents. We all loved it. Very spacious, and many part of the house build with beautiful exotic wood structure. The 2nd floor master suite is probably very hawaiian, high ceilings, no glass window, that you enjoy the cool breeze and sound of the tides all day/all night. very nice little yard and we had a little barbecue and family Luau the last everning we stayed. 3-5 min walk to the beach, and have to walk another 5-8 min to the part that you can swim, but nice walk though. Beach of this part of house is really quiet and beautiful. We saw a seal resting on the beach one day. Sunset is beautiful. Only problem is did not get wireless connection, the property manager was in the process of fixing that while we stayed. Well, may just be a good thing for a real vacation.
