“Perfect Location”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2016

Great stay at the cottage, it was very well located and only 25 mins from downtown Nashville. Very clean and had all. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Owner's reply: Thanks for visiting, Helen! We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come back again soon.

“Fabulous cottage”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2015

The house surpassed our expectations. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We brought our lab Bear who just was so happy also. He loved running up and down the steep hills surrounding this beautiful cottage. We are from Florida where everything is flat. The home was clean. We loved the solarium porch and had cicktails every evening watch the fabulous sunset. We started planning a trip back before we even left. Pat we will be in touch. Lol! Highly recommend. Plenty of room although its a small cozy cottage. Its all that we needed. Pat and Gil

Owner's reply: Thank yo for your words here, Pat. We are so happy to hear that you and your family had a great time staying our lakehouse. Please do come back and visit again! Best wishes to you.

Rented this cabin for the weekend to visit with my adult children. It was a quaint little cabin that has everything you need. Didn't have to leave for anything. Great view!

“Wonderful cabin, incredible management”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2014

When renting a cabin from 2600 miles away, one is always a bit nervous. This wonderful retreat and the help from Pat who manages it goes beyond any expectation. The solitude experienced in this quiet neighborhood, the magnificent sunsets each night across the lake and the spacious accommodations make for the perfect getaway. As for the management, Pat was helpful in every way---he made the rental process easy, provided us with easy directions gave us suggestions for nearby stores, and even checked on our journey across the US. One need not be concerned about anything going amiss here....thanks for a wonderful experience.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words, Brian! Very happy to hear that you and your family had a great time visiting Nashville. Please do keep in touch and visit again soon!

“Refreshed and renewed”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2013

A friend and I left home needing to relax and be refreshed from the difficulties life brings. We found just that here! The scenery and peacefulness of Gods creation was immaculate. The owners started our journey with encouragement and prayer before we ever left and it was felt throughout the entire weekend. If you want a getaway from the fast pace, relax and maybe fish, this is the spot! Thank you for sharing and allowing us the opportunity to be refreshed and renewed!

Owner's reply: Thank you for the kind words, Karen. We're very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our cottage. Please come back to visit again if you can! God bless you!

“winter retreat”

Loved the solarium! Spent most of my time there for a January retreat! Worked on my photo albums at a huge table in the solarium while looking out at the lake- fantastic view. Enjoyed the sunsets each day from the solarium. Slept in the bedroom however!!

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind words, Nan. We're very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at our lakehouse. Feel free to return anytime in the future!!

“old hickory lake cabin”

the house and and grounds are just as pictured on line.....we spent four days there recently and had a terrific time.....the house itself could use a facelift but it had everything we needed

“Stunning views”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2012

Spent the week with family and enjoyed every minute of every day. The location is phenomenal with multiple decks and a boat dock for your viewing pleasure. The Lakehouse is quaint and fulfilled our needs. We had a few maintenance glitches but Pat the PM was outstanding in responding quickly to our concerns. The glitches are the only reason I didn't give it five stars. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants to enjoy both a lakeside retreat and easy access to Nashville's downtown fun. I rented site unseen and was very happy with my choice. I will be a repeat customer.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words, Lynn. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon!
