Description of the Highlands vacation home rental
Very private location, just minutes from town. This adorable home has a fabulous setting with water, neighboring horses and incredible rock face views of Satulah and Fodderstack mountains. Hike the national forest from the property, fish in the pond, or just relax in the mountain air. Nearby in downtown highlands enjoy world class shopping and dining, or good hometown BBQ. The home has hardwood paneling throughout and renovated Kitchen and bathroom with Granite counters and Italian tiled shower. Outdoor gazebo and stone grilling kitchen are very popular. There is a king room on the main level and an upstairs queen bedroom affording privacy for everyone.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Big Buck Creek. The house was everything we hoped for and the views spectacular. The nearby towns for dining and shopping were wonderful. I spent two weeks by myself at the home as my husband needed to return to work. I felt perfectly safe and enjoyed walks up and down the gravel roads. I fed the horse and cows fresh mountain apples each day and it was fun just being out in this beautiful state. My only suggestion for improvement (which I shared with the homes owner) is to have the kitchen knives sharpened and the mid level TV needs to be replaced. Overall a great experience.
