“Lovely”

Reviewed 26 May 2011

We had a wonderful time in this lovely log cabin. The location was perfect - a quiet peaceful setting next to woods. But close enough to town (Custer City), Mt Rushmore and the other Black Hills attractions. The cabin was so pretty and so well equipped, we felt right at home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had some water issues during our stay.

“Great Location”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2010

The Cabin was very nice. It is in a great location. Close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. Just outside of Hill City which had excellent dining and souvenier shopping.

“Rustic in the Black Hills”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2009

We enjoyed our stay in the Black Hills Cabins. The location was close to all the things we were planning on doing which was a big plus. The cabin was clean with plenty of room and the kitchenette helped save $$ on food. We had an EXCELLENT time!

"We want you to know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you while on our wonderful vacation in the Black Hills. The Cabin was neat, relaxing and very comfortable; and we appreciate your efforts in helping to make us feel welcome. We arrived safely back home in ... Wisconsin, but our memories of South Dakota will forever be special. Thank you so much. Dan and Sandy"

"I'd like to say...I don't expect fancy things or expensive accommodations, just clean and inviting, and that's what I found here. The 1st day I went barefoot in the cabin and could tell the floors were clean. All the extra touches were noticed...the flowers on the porch, the aspen branches on the curtain rods, as frames, the decor and character of the cottage, ....thank you."
