Boats and Dogs
June 18, 2014
If you like a campground crowded with boats where it is hard to get in and out and a lot of barking dogs, this is the campground for you. They seem to make lots of rules but don't enforce them. It's a small campground and the boats parked everywhere, make it difficult to come and go.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. Firewood was provided for the fireplace. There were plenty of movies and Wii games provided as well as there is no satellite tv. The owner was very polite upon our arrival. We had a wonderful time on our weekend getaway. I gave three stars for two reasons. Reason one; we had two wonderfully marinated New York strips on the grill and after about 2 min of grilling the gas went out. There was supposed to be a back up tank but we couldn't find it. The second reason; we couldn't figure out how to work the shower. The tub worked fine but after speaking with the owner the shower can be a little tricky for someone not familiar with these type of controls. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. We will definitely stay at this cabin again. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Everything was way better than we expected. The furniture was so comfy, everything was up to date, and they made sure everything was nice and in order before coming. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We stayed here 3 times already with our family (2 kids under 12). We like that the kitchen has everything plus a dishwasher. Plus we're right by the boat ramp. The bunk bed and trundle work well for the kids but the full bed is tight for two adults because the bunk is over it (thus 4 stars). Still we always sleep well. We like being able to dock our boat for a few hours and walk to the cottage. The employees at the store are starting to feel like family.
