Description of the Hilton Head vacation home rental
The amount of work that has been accomplished on Hilton Head and in Sea Pines just 8 weeks after Matthew hit is amazing. Debris from the downed trees and broken limbs is piled up along the side of the roads but FEMA is working 7 days a week to get the mess cleaned up. Yes, we lost a lot of trees but once the debris is removed the tree canopy will just be a little thinner.

Harbour Town looks great but the boats have been moved elsewhere so the docks can be repaired. Heron Point, Atlantic Dunes, and Harbour Town golf courses are open. The beach is still beautiful but most of the dunes were eroded by the storm and all of the leisure trails have been opened.

We hope you choose to return to our beautiful island soon, just be sure you check the status of the cleanup with the homeowner or property manager before booking your vacation.

Beautiful property and a beautiful home. There was 10 of us all together and so much space!! Very nicely decorated, with all of the comforts of home and more!! Great for kids big and small!! My favourite room was the bonus room, all the kids slept in there with room to spare. Pool was nice with a great golf course view. Very relaxing vacation.

We had the BEST week away with our kids 18 and 20 and their friend 22! We loved Sea Pines and the highlight was staying at 28 Ridgewood Lane! The house is beautiful decorated and extremely clean. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and bbq'd, watched sports and movies in the large comfortable living room and the beds were comfy too . We walked to Harbour Town and Sea Pines Beach resort, golfed, rented seedoo's and shopped. The pool was perfect and the view of the golf course is beautiful. Cindy is available anytime to answer any questions and obviously loves her little slice of paradise. We feel very fortunate to have found this residence and hope to return again with family or maybe a couples get away. We just can't say enough about how perfect our week was. Thank you!!

Perfect house for a family vacation This was the third year in a row we came to Sea Pines for our annual family vacation, but our first time to stay in this home. We were certainly not disappointed in any way with our choice (and I'll admit to being very picky about where we stay). First of all Cindy responds to every email very promptly and will even call to clarify something or answer questions both during your planning and while you are there. The setting of this home on the end of a quiet street with golf course views is excellent. For us closer to the beach might be better, but one can't have everything. This home is spotless and the owners have thought of nearly everything one could need! This owner stocks lots iof practical items that many homes don't offer. All the rooms are nicely appointed and the kitchen is amazingly well equipped. Everything is exactly as pictured and the layout of this home is very accommodating for 2-3 couples with or without children. The kids loved the bunk room and we all enjoyed the deck. A really outstanding feature of this home is the private pool which is good sized and sunny and has nice benches for the youngest guests. The waterfall is a nice feature as well. The use of the garage was also an advantage so bikes, carts and strollers could be kept dry. We all enjoyed the ocean at Sea Pines Beach Club and then coming back to the pool for a refreshing dip! There are many excellent restaurants in the area that take reservations. Cindy even provides a listing of some of those. We didn't use the pool table mainly because we were just too busy doing all the other things Sea Pines has to offer. We were so pleased with our stay that we are looking forward to another wonderful week here next year. Cindy really does make you feel like you are staying at her home not just her "rental property". Thanks for everything!

Q: Why should we rent your home and what makes it so special?
A: We love our home and take great pride in providing a beautiful, comfortable home that is very clean and well maintained. As owners, we use our home a lot and you will find our love of our home reflected throughout the property. We also provide a lot of extras that you won't find in many rental properties: We provide 10 beach towels, 9 beach chairs, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, sample packs of coffee, an assortment of spices and a very well equipped kitchen. Plus the pool is large and sunny, a rare find in Sea Pines.
Q: Maximum number of guests?
A: Our home sleeps 10 people. To keep our guests comfortable we limit the number of adults to 8. Total occupancy, including ALL infants and children, is 10, no exceptions.
Q: How far to the beach and Harbour Town?
A: Our home is located in the heart of the Sea Pines Resort. It is a 1-mile walk to Harbour Town and a short, 2-mile bike ride, via the bike trails, to the Sea Pines Beach Club.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Guests can receive a 100% refund, minus a $200.00 cancellation fee if cancelled more than 90 days before scheduled arrival date.
Q: Do you require a contract/rental agreement?
A: Yes, we do require a signed rental agreement and this will be sent to you by the owner after you have decided you want to rent the property. Your reservation is not complete until the owner receives both your deposit and the signed rental agreement.
Q: Do you have a specific "Turnover Day"?
A: During spring break (early April) and during the summer (June - mid August) we require Saturday Check-in and Check-out.
Q: Can we have families staying at another property over for dinner or to use the pool?
A: To keep our guests comfortable, and to limit the wear and tear on our home, we limit the occupancy to 10 people at all times, this includes afternoons in the pool or dinner on the deck. If you are traveling to Hilton Head with a large group we suggest renting one of the large properties near the beach.
Q: Can we host a small wedding or party at your house?
A: Once again, we limit the occupancy of our home to 10 people at all times and do not permit small gatherings including weddings, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, baby showers, etc.
