Located inside Hilton Head Plantation - the favorite of year round island residents, this is an off beach location for convenient access to all the area's best activities. It's a short drive to the best ocean beaches on the north half of the island with public access, restrooms, parking, and playgrounds.
If you want peace and a relaxing vacation and you don't mind taking the short (and pretty) drive to the beach, this is your home away from home!! You get more for your money in the way of comfort, space, privacy and quiet compared to the busy beachside condos.

Area Information
Hilton Head Plantation has miles of leisure/bike trails to delight nature lovers. There is a community swimming pool, a Whooping Crane conservancy and several boardwalk areas along the Port Royal Sound waterfront. The plantation has a large recreation area that includes a sandy nonswimming beach, a playground, and a bluff waterfront walking trail along with facilities.

Just outside the Plantation is Main Street Village with a grocery, restaurants and boutique shops. Across the main road, highway 278, is a major shopping center with grocery, stores, and restaurants.

This plantation is the choice of the majority of the island's permanent residents, and it is a quiet, lush and beautiful neighborhood away from the seasonal crowds. It is still close enough to drive to the ocean beaches (4 miles) as well as convenient to on island and off island shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and other sightseeing destinations such as Savannah GA (45 minutes) and Charleston SC (2 hrs).
