Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Hollywood, California
Lovely stay. Conveniently located close walking distance to La Live and Staples Center, several restaurants and bars. Close commute to USC Medical Center. Unit was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen. Enjoyed to massage chair after a long day! Would stay here again. Very easy transaction thank you.
Nicely appointed spacious suite in downtown LA. Parking was a plus. Very quiet location and having a Starbucks on the block was a definite plus! The exercise room has excellent treadmills and equipment too. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone needing a downtown accomodation.
My wife, young three year old daughter and our little Yorkie stayed at the Luma Loft recently. Paula, the owner, was very accommodating and responsive. The location is excellent, very close to Staples Centre, LA Live and the LA Convention Centre. Indeed, we walked to Lawry's Carvery for dinner twice. There is also a Ralph's Fresh Fare several blocks away (easier to drive, and there is validated parking there too), and Bottega Louie, a bistro/cafe/pattiserie, is also within walking distance.
The loft was very comfortable for us, probably less so once our daughter gets older, but would be perfect for a single person or a couple. There is a fold out sofa bed, which we did not use. However, I did use the excellent massage chair - very therapeutic after two straight days walking in Disneyland! Parking and access to the pool/open common areas were nice pluses, and we used the BBQ there once as well. Parking was very nice as the spots are on the same level as the unit, so park and walk, no elevator ride required. Everything about the unit is very high end, and the use of a washer/dryer in the unit is beneficial too.
I would stay here again without reservation.
I will never stay at a hotel in LA again! This place was such a convenience due to its quiet location, parking, and ease of building access. Most importantly, I felt at home. There is Philz coffee on 9th and Hope which makes a San Francisco native's heart melt and I can Uber it to most all activities in LA without paying an arm and a leg. The place is meticulously maintained with plenty of towels and a great little kitchen for entertaining a couple of friends. To top it all off, we got a chance to relax at the pool on the 4th floor which was able to get a ton of sunlight up to 5pm. I booked this place for 4 nights and ended up staying another night because I didn't want to leave!
This apartment is like staying at the Ritz plus it has full kitchen, laundry room and free parking! A blender and measuring cup would be a nice kitchen addition, and I'd like the freedom to adjust the temperature up in the day and down at night, but all in all, we will keep this property at the top of our list when we return to LA.
