Self-contained separate apartment in private 1920's house facing garden (see picture to understand the lay-out)
Bathroom with shower
Use of patio & 1920's barbeque
Use of huge tropical garden
Free on site laundry
Comfy queen size bed
Opium window niche in bedroom
Easy on-street parking
Close to public transport
The apartment will sleep 5 people-2 in the bed, 2 on the fold-out couch, and one in the opium niche in the bedroom. (The opium niche looks small in the picture due to the perspective, but in actuality, it can sleep a person up to 6'2" and I've been told it's very comfortable. However, if the niche sleeper is tall, he/she will have to sleep at an angle.) Footsteps and plumbing can be heard from upstairs, so if you are sound sensitive, you may want to sleep with ear plugs.
The trees that shade the house keep the house cool in summer--no need for a.c Portable heaters provided for chilly times.
Your cleaning deposit will be returned if you leave the place cleaner than you found it, including doing the dishes, sweeping, mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors, washing sheets & towels, etc.
14% Hotel tax due in cash upon arrival for stays of 29 days or less

Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Hollywood, California
April 14, 2015
My boyfriend and I stayed with Yvonne during our stay in LA. I am always a little hesitant renting a place off of these sites but Yvonne was professional/ timely in her response and made us feel welcome once we arrived. The backyard is beautiful and the accommodations are exactly what you see in the pictures: charming homey. The location is perfect!!! close to everything and great for those that love running. The houses in the area are so interesting and being within the Hollywood Hills there is no breaks when your out for a jog! Overall great value for location! Also as a note: we opted to do the cleaning ourselves and Yvonne transferred the damage and cleaning deposit back to my paypal within hours of us leaving. She is very personable, professional and great to do business with :).

Fun & friendly hosts at this classic, serene, & convenient Hollywood Hills spot. You feel like you've stepped back into 1930s Hollywood and are renting a small but adequate homestead. It had all we needed, & the backyard outdoor space was very relaxing. Plus, this spot is very convenient & accessible to Hollywood, Studio City, and the 101 freeway. I'd stay again!
