Description of the Honolulu vacation condo rental
Our family has owned in this building since its inception where we owned a small studio with the dream to own a one bedroom some day. We were finally able to make this a reality when we moved up to the one bedroom of our dreams. We believe our property is different from others, not only because of its abnormally large size in the building (nearly 700 square feet!), but for a number of reasons that we hope you will enjoy as well. Our home has two full Lanai’s with two separate beautiful views, one of the serene unobstructed park to Ocean (with sunset views) and another of the Park, Pool, Honolulu Skyline and Friday night fireworks. Our family likes to save money by walking to the market and cooking food in our full kitchen, or enjoy a night on the town by walking mere blocks away to the main Waikiki strip.

What makes this property special is its location. Sitting at the 'Gateway' to Waikiki, it is quiet and serene while being only an arm’s length away from all that Waikiki has to offer.

We stayed for 4 nights in September'15 and we loved the place. The two queen beds make the place perfect for 4 travelers and the couch in the living room pulls out. We had access to all the hotel side amenities i.e.pool and bbq. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again in the future.
Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers

We stayed here for 6 nights. Good location and nearby many shops and restaurants (all pretty much south of us). The owner provided a crib and high chair which was a huge help to us. Great stay and had a great time! Would stay here again!

My daughters and I loved this Suite and the Luana Waikiki. The accommodations were perfect for us. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare meals and was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, including the couch bed. We all used the gym and loved it, very clean and plenty of equipment. The property was very clean and clearly very well maintained. Easy walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Super easy process to rent and card key was waiting for us at the front desk at check in. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this property without hesitation, however I would like to keep it a secret :) This was a Thanksgiving trip we will always remember.

We spent 7 days over Christmas time on Oahu. We enjoyed having this apartment as our home base while visiting. We slept 6 adults and 1 infant. We used the pull-out couch for a couple nights before discovering that there was a double size airbed in the unit by the door (pump included) which was a lot more comfortable. There was also a pack and play in the closet for the baby which was also nice to have. The unit is right in the main part of Waikiki just a half block away from major high end shopping and lots of restaurants. It was also a great price for the location. One downside was the parking situation. You only have Valet at the Hotel where the unit is located and it is $35 a day. There are other options around but it seems for not less than $20 a day and some research or local knowledge would be needed before arrival to know where they are located.

Stayed for 5 nights with 2 adults and 2 young children. The location was perfect, quiet and yet still walkable to shops and restaurants. A new play pen and high chair were provided by the owner for my son. The kids enjoyed the firework show and the shuttle service and concierge at the hotel were fantastic. You don't need a car to get around when staying here for sure. We'll definitely recommend this place for families and friends.

We are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed for 2 weeks in February, and were beyond comfortable in this unit. Everything we could possibly need was found in the unit; pots, pans, utensils, cups, beach towels and chairs, and more. We absolutely loved the location of the hotel, and were only a 10-15 minute walk from to the beach and an extra 5 minutes to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. The view from the lanai was exceptional and we enjoyed having our complimentary coffees overlooking the park and ocean. We loved taking evening strolls along the board walk by the beach and along Kalakaua Ave., shopping for souvenirs and trinkets, at the many shops. Sarah provided great service and responded quickly to emails and was easily reached by phone. She was extremely accommodating regarding requests that were made. The staff at the hotel were also very pleasant and the concierge was very knowledgable. We were very pleased with the Luana and will be staying there again on our next visit. I strongly recommend this unit.

This was a lovely, spacious corner apartment ( six floors up) with TWO balconies. The first balcony off the living room overlooked a huge park, perfect for morning coffee from coffee machine in the full size kitchen. The second balcony overlooked the heated pool and was shady in the afternoon, perfect for end-of-the-day drinks. The one bedroom was huge with two double beds, two cupboards to store cloths ( one with TV) and space to move around. The bathroom was not large but had a long counter top to accommodate two females with all their stuff! Another built-in cupboard had plenty more room with extra useful things: beach umbrella, beach mats, small surf board, balls, toddler high-chair, ironing board. This apartment was only short walk to beach across the park, the Hilton Hawaiian Village was across the park so easy to get to see Friday night fireworks and nice restaurants. The Alamoana Shopping mall was about 10-15min walk. The photos of the property were accurate and the apartment was clean and well maintained with little extras of spare garbage bags, dishwashing liquid. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again and recommend to friends.

We enjoyed the central location and access to both restaurants and the beaches. The room was well appointed and had lots of little extras like beach accessories. Would have been nice to have an insuite laundry. We have stayed in the building before and had the same room but on the second floor and it had a large terrace and laundry. Otherwise this was great and Sarah was very helpful

This was a great little get away for me and my wife when we visited Waikiki for a wedding in April. The Luana Waikiki property is in a "quiet" location adjacent to Fort Derussy Park and a relatively short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The amenities offered afforded us opportunities for early morning work outs and breakfasts on the lanai at sunrise. This isn't the most modern or updated place in Waikiki, but the homey feel definitely resonated with the wife. And If she is happy, I am happy.

Great condo with everything supplied that we needed. The location is great being in close proximity to Ala Moana Shopping centre and downtown Waikiki. Many restaurants close by and my recommendation for breakfast is Bills and dinner at PE Changs.
