“Wonderful Waikiki rental”
This condo was very nice , with the entire front of it being a giant window with a great view and large doors so it opens right up into a tropical paradise. The rooms don't have keys just a code on the door , which is extremely convenient when you are always at the beach and don't want to risk losing a key! There is no check in or out procedure at a front desk , you just arrive and leave as if it is your home away from home. Very relaxing ! It is in a great location with a quiet surrounding compared to the business of downtown; it is also an easy walk to downtown and tons of shopping. The lagoon in front is not over crowded and provides a very relaxing swimming area for all ages . The fireworks show in front of the building every Friday was also a great bonus. I would recommend staying here and will hopefully be back again myself!
“Great for family stay”
Very happy with the room we had (2002) great view and the kitchen had everything needed to comfortably make your own meals if you wanted. Bathroom had plenty of towels and the extra rubbish bags and toilet paper was useful. Toilet got blocked but we were told it happens often so we got a plunger and that did the trick. The ilikai building is a favorite for our family and was our 3rd time returning. A family of 5 (3children) were comfortable as we were out most of the day but always loved our return at the end of the day. Will definitely be back again soon...
Condo was as described - clean, well equipped. Balcony looks out over marina and ocean next to Hilton lagoon - great for swimming. No real complaints. A suggestion would be to provide more garbage bags in the pails for use. ABCs on every corner for simple things and 10-15 min walk to full grocery store. Nightly blowing of the conch shell on the hotel patio and you can hear live music from the lobby restaurant when eating dinner on your balcony which was rather nice.
“More than expected”
Fabulous stay in Honolulu in this great apartment. Loved the space, the location, the view. Couldn't have been happier when we opened the door. Although the hotel complex is very big, the apartment felt very private, even when sitting on the balcony. Sad to leave but looking forward to going back.
Family of 4 (kids 11 & 15). Always love the convenience of Ilikai to lagoon, ala moana & restaurant options. Will admit with us having a suitcase each➕ on this trip for shopping purposes it got a bit tight. Beds are doubles. View of lagoon & unit furnishings lovely. The single chair became a fave for all. If tall (over6ft1") Watch out for the low bullkhead as you enter kitchen.
“Condo and location worked great for us!”
The condo was equipped with needed essentials. It was clean. No disappointment. Our stay was only 3 nights but we would definitely stay again and recommend for others. The location is very convenient for car less people. .The outside noise is typical of downtown life however with the door closed from the lanai it was very comfortable. We found the inside of the condo very comfortable. Had two queen beds and stocked with the essential kitchen items. Shower was comfortable as well as the beds and lines provided. We enjoyed looking out on the lanai at the city lights. There is shopping at the Hawaiian Village right next-door breakfast places across the street and down stairs as well as coffee shops and we even swim at the pool which was very comfortable and accommodating. The beach which is in walking distance was also very warm and inviting overall well worth the reasonable rental cost. Be aware the parking costs are pricey but the norm for staying at a hotel downtown. The valet attendants were very courteous and never a wait for our vehicle.
“Great Vacation Spot”
I was in Room 1131 which was fantastic. The room had everything you need but the special part was the sunsets from this room, they were magnificent. If you want to see tropical fish, walk out down to the beach past the lagoon and swim 50 metres out to the reef where you will see plenty of sealife, I even swam with a turtle. The bus stops directly outside and you can go anywhere on the island for $2.50. Cinnamon was a good bar with friendly staff.
“Great location on waikiki”
Condo was perfect for our family of four. Balcony view of lagoon was beautiful. Will definitely book this condo again.
This place was a slice 9f heaven. Everything on the room was new and clean and.the view is worth a million bucks. My family was sad to leave. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone. Truly spectacular!!!!!!!
“Great location and suite”
The suite we had at the Illikai was perfectly located and the suite was spacious and nicely decorated. We had a fantastic view of the lagoon and the ocean. It was great to have the convenience of the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. We preferred this section of oceanfront as it was quieter and not as crowded as the Waikiki area. The pool was great and we could easily visit our friends staying at the marina. We had a great time and would certainly come back to the Illikai again. Thank you.
