Description of the Honolulu vacation apartment rental
This unit is conveniently located at 430 Lewers Street at the cross street of Kuhio Avenue, just half a block from Duty-Free shopping. This corner unit on the 18th floor of the Aloha Towers is newly remodeled with warm colors and laminate flooring, furnished in a beautiful tropical rattan style. It comes with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, and covered reserved parking.

The bedrooms are furnished with a king bed in the master, and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The balcony is accessible through the living area as well as from the master bedroom. The living room features comfy seating and an entertainment center with television.

When you're not out exploring the island, catching waves at the beach, or wandering around Waikiki, head down to the recreation deck on the seventh floor and go for a swim in the pool, relax in the sauna or whirlpool, or practice your backhand on the tennis courts. You can also grill your own catch of the day in the barbeque area.

In the vicinity of the Aloha Towers, you'll find many shops and restaurants such as the International Marketplace, World-Famous Waikiki Beach, The Honolulu Zoo, The Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park, which features tennis courts, jogging paths, and amazing views of Diamond Head.

Good and bad

The location of this unit was very good and it was great to have a parking stall (definitely only for a compact though). Downside it was not what we consider clean, especially for a rental. Bathmats dirty, vents in bathroom horridly caked with dust, food crumbs on chairs, previous renters old soap in shower( yuk). When we arrived there were damp towels in the dryer and towels in the washer. The place would be so much better if owners spent as little as $500 and replace the curtains that are falling off the rod and replace bathroom mirror. But most importantly clean the condo properly! Dealing with the booking, payment and obtaining keys was very good but overall I would not recommend.

Apartment is old. Balcony door latches need replacement. Bathroom needs upgrade. Parking space was too restricted for a van Goodcollection of utensils in the kitchen.

Location was awesome. We stayed here with our 2 adult children. Enough space for everyone. Washer and dryer came in very handy. 2 bathrooms were perfect. Building was safe. Very convenient 123 store just outside entrance which was great. Close to major shopping, dining, beach. Was located by the canal so still on the quiet side. Parking was included but the parking stall was meant for the size of a Smart car of very small car. Building manager was able to get us one that would fit our rental vehicle. Could see Friday night fireworks from our balcony. A few things were missing from the condo - toilet paper ran out quickly, no dish soap, some Saran wrap would have been useful or some ziplock bags - but not enough to deter us from renting again should we go back. We would definitely stay here again.

Quality Accomodation, Well Located

We were impressed with the quality of this unit compared with previous holiday apartments. It was more like what you would expect from staying at a friend's place. It was very well equipped with quality fittings. The central location made it ideal for accessing all that Waikiki has to offer. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a local resident staying with us and made use of the valet car park. While expensive, this was a convenient feature. Overall we were very satisfied with our choice of the Wyndham and were glad that we decided to pay the extra that it cost compared to other places we also considered.

Awesome Property

I booked this condo for 2 of our employees to stay in during 2-week work assignment. They said it was an awesome find....the photos shown on the website accurately reflected the unit's ammenities. It was 1/2 the price of booking them 2 rooms at a hotel and gave them to opportunity to cook meals and feel like they were "at home". The staff at VHR were very freindly and professional....I would definitely use them again for my travel needs. Looking at some of the other options on their website I'm already planning my next trip!
