About the area

You can charter a boat at the marina for deep sea fishing, day trips to Vieques or Monkey Islands and snorkeling. Other nearby activities you might enjoy while in Puerto Rico include visiting Old San Juan, taking a ferry boat to the island of Culebra or Vieques, zip lining, hang gliding or kayaking at one of the bioluminescent bays. Visiting El Yunque National Forest the only rain forest in the US National Forest system with waterfalls, rivers, hiking trails and ocean views.

Getting around

If you will be spending time outside of Palmas del Mar it is best to rent a car at the San Juan airport. We can arrange for your airport transfer if you do not wish to rent a car. Either way Palmas del Mar is best enjoyed if you rent a golf cart.
