Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Fun things to do in the Huron-Sandusky area?
A: Cedar Point seven miles away. African Safari in Port Clinton 22 miles away. Goofy Golf with two go cart tracks and two miniature golf courses. Rye Beach Park is 50 yards away and the pier for fishing and the small private beach is 100 yards away. Great non-chain restaurants. Two miles of malls and shopping 4 to 5 miles away. Free concert at Huron Boat Basin every Saturday night three miles away.
Q: What makes our vacation rental special.?
A: It used to be our home and was decorated by my wife with many antiques.
Q: Coolest activity?
A: Cedar Point only seven miles away. Best time to go is Monday thru Thursday. We went on a Tuesday with my granddaughters arriving at 10:00 a.m. and by 5:30 they had been on Valraven (1hr 10 min wait) and the rest of the 10 or 11 rides 1/2 hour or less. Several roller coasters they got on immediately. Three different places for live entertainment while the children are waiting to get on Valraven. We have season tickets and have gone many times to meet friends. Also many good restaurants including Famous Daves whose ribs are to die for.
