Yes, you really can have it all in this tastefully decorated traditional, luxurious Cape set on a bucolic half an acre, in an upscale neighborhood, just an easy stroll to the Harbor, Hyannis Yacht Club, the JFK Memorial and some of the Cape's best white sand beaches. Ideally located within walking distance to 4 different beaches:- Veterans (great for little kids), Kalmus (for windsurfers), Keyes Memorial (filled with shells) and our little known, almost private neighborhood beach, this spacious, 4 bedroom, 2 bath, modernized house can sleep 10 people comfortably on regular beds and an additional 2 on daybeds and pop-up trundles.
Relax in the open plan living-kitchen-dining area furnished with Ethan Allen furniture, Persian carpets on hardwood floors & ocean inspired paintings. On rainy days watch cable TV or DVDs on a large LCD screen or play foosball, air hockey or table tennis/ping pong in our spacious basement game room. Feel the warm breeze caress your skin in our "breezeway" complete with hunter green wicker furniture & additional drinks refrigerator.
"Watch the world go by" gently swaying on a hammock cloistered by emerald green foliage and an azure blue water view. Feel close to nature as you enjoy watching and listening to the swans, ducks, geese and multitudes of other wild life from the privacy of your own backyard facing a tidal marsh.
Have a barbecue lunch or dinner comfortably on the spacious 500 sq ft deck, fully equipped with patio set, umbrella, rattan furniture, cooler and grill. Accommodate young and old members of the family with two ground floor bedrooms (2 twins in one room and 2 twins and a bunk bed in the other), and 2 large upstairs bedrooms with queen sized beds and daybeds and trundles in each.
Why not take a leisurely morning stroll to the Harbor to have your morning coffee and take in the quaint fishing boats, browsing blissfully in artists' kiosks while enjoying music on the green. If you are lucky enough to be here during July 4 weekend you can walk down the road to the Firework Extravaganza from this excellent location on Veterans Beach, and don't worry about parking or getting stuck in the traffic mayhem after.
You will feel away from it all in this house and yet surprisingly close to everything. This is an amazing location which will give you and your family a variety of activity options. This is our home and we hope everyone treats it with the same love and regard as we do.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Hyannis, Massachusetts
You can have it all.
You can have it all.

The on line advertisement for this property starts with the phrase " You can have it all..." This is not hyperbole. This is a tremendous property in a genuinely pristine area close to all of the essential areas of Hyannis- the beach, the Hyline Ferry for day trips to the Vineyard or Nantucket, innumerable eating spots on Sea Street, Main Street and Ocean Avenue. The owners provided an excellent, warm introduction to the property and the area. Gosnold Street is not a heavily trafficked road, and the house sits back from the street. The entire home is air conditioned, however there was an excellent breeze constantly cooling the oversized deck and backyard. The house has two large bedrooms on the second floor with comfortable queen sized platform beds. There was more than ample closet space and bureaus. There are full bathrooms on both of the main floors. The kitchen is modern with all the desirable amenities. Glasses, utensils and microwaves were available and in good working order. The owners have a great library on site. We did not use the bikes on site, but they were available as was the charcoal grill. We used this centrally located home to explore all parts of the cape with ease, and take a day trip to the Vineyard. The owners were professional in their interaction with us. They gave us their contact information during our stay in case anything came up (we did not need to contact them). The basement has a ping pong table and other table top games which came in handy on a rainy day. A full sized washer and dryer are in the basement. The only missing component in the house was the availability of a high speed internet connection. My USB adaptor could not consistently pick up a 3G or 4G signal. Thankfully, our smart tech savvy children were able to convert their I-phones into an internet hot spot, which we used without problem.
This year the weather in the cape was a bit windy and wet -- so it was nice to have the table tennis facilities and the foos ball and air hockey for the kids -- so many rentals don't provide that -- is that was a nice touch and brought our family together in the evenings. We enjoyed our visit, and especially loved walking to Veterans Beach every day -- the playground was a real plus for our 2 year old!
We stayed here in June and will do so again next year. You can't beat the location -- walk to the beaches and harbor and bike to Main Street. I liked the yard -- green and leafy and the deck is well supplied with grill and lounge furniture. We loved the area -- quiet and green and yet not isolated.

"This is not your typical bare bones rental -- it's like a running home with so many additional things you need provided for you particularly in the kitchen. Not having to run out to the store every few minutes to pick up a can opener or bottle opener saved us a lot of money. Thanks so much Anjie."
