Just a few steps from the water, enjoy our 4 bedroom/3 bath condo in Imperial Beach, one of San Diego's best-kept secrets. Sleeps 8 comfortably + sofa bed. Ideal for family retreats or group of friends to relax, unwind, and long walks on the beach.

The Space

4 BR/3 Baths comfortably fit 8 in premium mattresses & bedding, + 2 in sleeper sofa. Master BR in main floor has cal king bed, ocean view balcony, TV/sound bar, fan, mirror closet doors. Upstairs Master BR has CKing bed, desk, TV. Ocean view room has queen bed, and third room has twin bed with trundle underneath. Kitchen equipped with all appliances & kitchenware, dishwasher, large refrigerator. Dining counter set + countertop bar in kitchen. Gas BBQ on front balcony. Condo is very bright and airy.

Guest Access

Unit is on the second and third floors of the building. There is no elevator. The third floor has the larger master bedroom. Front door entrance from the street and back entrance through garage door have stairs to main floor.
Guests have access to the entire condo and garage. The storage room on the third floor is off limits.
Kitchen: Large refrigerator with ice maker and water dispense, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher. Pots, pans, utensils, glassware included. Gas BBQ provided on balcony.

Parking: One car garage for compact car (although I did have a guest park a Range Rover), one additional space on driveway. Street parking is also available. Washer & dryer located in garage.

Interaction with Guests

I welcome guests' questions ahead of their stay and if possible, will greet them when they arrive. I live nearby and am available for questions and/or any concerns.

Other Things to Note

When you book the unit, I will give you a pass code for the front door lock, the code changes once you leave.

The Neighborhood

Imperial Beach is often referred as the "Most Southwesterly City in the U.S." We love our easy-going, carefree beach town, where you can experience amazing sunsets and long unobstructed walks on the beach. Enjoy swimming and great surfing spots, with lifeguards throughout the year. The historic IB Pier is a prime fishing spot. Visit the Wildlife Refuge and Estuary and learn about endangered plants and bird watching. Bike or (inline) skate the 17 mile Bayshore Bikeway to Coronado and San Diego. Enjoy exciting new beachfront restaurants such as SEA180 in the Pier South Resort (Marriott Autograph Collection), Coronado Brewing Company, and a variety of eateries such as Par Amour in the IB Pier Plaza, the Tin Fish on the pier and farmers market on Fridays - all just steps away from your front door. You can find a variety of grocery stores, pharmacy and urgent care a few blocks away.
IB is 15 minutes from Coronado and the Mexican border. Downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, the world renowned SD Zoo, Sea World's Water Park are just 20-25 minutes is famous for its brewery scene, but it also counts with more than 50 wineries in the county.

Getting Around

The unit has a one car garage and a dedicated parking space in the driveway. Across the street there is a parking lot, but street parking is usually available. There is a bus stop in front of the unit. The bus drives by a trolley station, which facilitates getting around San Diego. Most people rent cars in San Diego, the airport is 16mi/25 minutes away without traffic.
