Description from owner

Magnificent 2-bedroom/2-bathroom resort condominium vacation rental located in an oceanfront property on Indian Shores Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Indian Shores is a unique, relaxed gulf coast town with a beautiful beach, a wide variety of fabulous upscale and family restaurants, entertainment, and wonderful shopping. Our condo building is a very popular family-friendly gulf front condo rental in Florida on the Gulf Coast that is directly on the beach and has excellent guest reviews.

Our spacious 1100 square foot condo is 20 miles west of Tampa in the middle of a 13-mile long barrier island with Clearwater to the north and St. Petersburg Beach to the south.

Surrounded by warm, gentle surf and plenty to do... or do nothing but savor the relaxed atmosphere and walk barefoot on the beautiful soft, white sandy beach right outside your door. Rinse off after a fun-filled day on the beach at our outdoor shower conveniently located right off the beach.

Our large heated pool has plenty of sun, shade, lounging chairs, and tables with umbrellas and is a great place for a poolside picnic. The entire building is Wi-Fi accessible, including the condos, balconies, pool/deck area, BBQ/Picnic area and even parts of the beach close to the building. Just set up your laptop and you can enjoy our free Wi-Fi access.

Our spacious, luxury condo is completely equipped with all amenities. It has been updated and redecorated, including beautiful ceramic tile throughout the entire apartment, newer living room furniture, new air conditioning system, and freshly painted every year to keep it clean and appealing for our guests.

In early 2014, we added a large flat screen TV in the living room and also flat screen TVs in the bedroom, all with full Cable channels. There are also two new recliners and all new tables in the living room. We bought new furniture for the second bedroom, new refrigerator with ice maker in the kitchen, new dishwasher and a new microwave. All new bedding in both bedrooms and many new decorative touches, make our condo truly your home away from home.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized pillow-top mattress bed, digital alarm clock/radio and full private bath. The second bedroom has one double and one single bed (both new with very comfortable pillow-top mattresses), digital alarm clock/radio and separate full bath (accessible in hallway right outside second bedroom door).

We have furnished our condo to make it your home away from home, with all the comforts we want for ourselves when we vacation. There is Cable TV in all rooms, DVD, VCR, full stereo and free WI-FI. Fully-equipped, full-size kitchen includes coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pots and pans, all dishes and utensils; everything you need to prepare and serve a gourmet meal for your family to enjoy after a full, active day on the beach.

There is a private balcony with patio furniture. Our balcony faces towards the intracoastal waterway and has a view of the tropical palm trees and shrubbery of Tiki Gardens, a park across the street on Gulf Blvd. Since we are located only one floor up from the ground floor, unfortunately there is no view of the intracoastal waterway from the balcony.

Our onsite management office provides many conveniences for guests, including handling of keys, cleaning and maintenance issues, change for the laundry room, free bicycle rentals for all guests staying in the condo (bicycles can be picked up at the main office in Indian Rocks Beach), and DVDs to borrow at no cost.

Easy access to all central Florida's world-famous attractions, including John's Pass Historical Fishing Village, Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, and even just a 90-minute drive to the Orlando theme parks. Walk to mini market, great restaurants, shops and entertainment. Enjoy beachside volleyball, jogging on the beach, swimming, snorkeling, shelling, sand castles, fishing, boogie boarding, parasailing, jet skiing, miniature golf, public golf courses and glorious sunsets. Watch the dolphins traveling the beautiful gulf coastline. A perfect place for you and your family to spend a dream vacation you will remember for years to come.

“Not able to stay and not happy with policy”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2016

We were to stay at my indian shores condo. My roommate who was to share the cost had to be rushed to the hospital Tuesday the 13th for breathing problems and still is in therapy. I can understand the policy with having to cancel in such a short period of time but there was no other option for us. The owner wanted to give us an option to stay for an alternate week if we listed the week we were to stay and got someone to stay the week we were to be there , but that wouldn't have worked out for us. We looked long and hard for a central location and know the area well enough to know that it was a good deal. But having no other option for us, especially with someone who had an emergency and STILL is in the hospital is not the greatest policy ive heard of. We would have been happy to change our dates, but that does not apply. We would have paid more to stay "in season" sometime next year but that also does not apply. We tried every thing to get over there but when someone has to go to the hospital in an ambulance after calling 911 and STILL is in therapy three weeks later really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I understand the policies in place and cancelling 48 hours before arrival but in this situation, what was i to do???? Again , thanks for reading this and had have a great day.

Owner's reply: I hope everything turned out okay with your roommate. The cancellation policy is clearly stated on the management office Rental Agreement you signed. Even then I tried to accommodate you another week when you first contacted me. When your roommate got out of the hospital the first time, you confirmed that you were going to go forward with your vacation. You then contacted me the day before you were to arrive to cancel again and wanted a refund. At that point there was nothing I could do.

“holliday Villas II, unit 304”

We rented this unit site unseen, very nervous about what we were walking into....As soon as we entered the condo we felt right at home. This unit is perfect, it was very clean and spacious. The owners were so helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We had a wonderful month at Holliday Villas II and the staff with Plumlee Rentals were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped with everything from getting checked in to checking out. We loved this unit so much we booked again for next year. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be comfortable away from home.

Can't wait to go back next year!!

“Won't be going bavk”

The condo itself was decent but the walls are super thin so you can hear everything. The bedrooms are by the hallway elevator (which is the slowest I've ever been in!) so you hear everything and everyone. We slept horribly. Also, there were tiny sand fleas in the kitchen which is just gross. We won't be going back.

Owner's reply: Hi Sarah - As an owner, we always appreciate when guests write reviews, however, although you did send me an email about renting my condo, it was not my condo that you ended up renting. I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your vacation. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Two bedroom condo. Lots of space. Had great view overlooking beach and pool/Two porches. Beach was great. Good mix of people. No complaints.

Owner's reply: HI Colleen - Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay at the condo you rented through me. My condo that is listed here is not the one you rented, as it does not have a view of the beach from the balcony, but I was happy to assist you with renting a condo that had a balcony overlooking the beach and gulf for your vacation. I am very happy that you enjoyed your vacation and hope you will contact me again when planning a future visit to the area.

“Great stay at Holiday Villas”

Our 2 bedroom condo was spacious, clean and neat. It does not have a Gulf view but you can see the bay. I would stay here again except I want a washer and dryer in my unit. There are washers and dryers on each floor though.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at my condo. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and may visit in the future.

The condo was very nice and clean and seemed to be up dated although the ice maker did not work and there was no ice cube trays so we bought ice. It was also very quiet and did not hear the neighbors except for the ones up stairs that kept moving chairs around on the tile floors, but they soon left so that stopped.

“Unit 407”

Reviewed 15 Feb 2015

Unit was clean and spacious. However only an uncomfortable sectional leather couch and two other uncomfortable chairs was all there was for viewing TV which once was once used by Fred Flintstone.Seating more than one couple would have been very uncomfortable.TV in master bedroom also old tube style. DVD player was not remote controlled and you had to plug in wires for the DVD and remove for TV. Cook stove burners were uneven making cooking a challenge, and had to giggle to get some to work, if they would at all. Lighting in bathrooms made shaving difficult. Never found out what some light switches controlled. The personnel was courteous and eager to assist. We plan to stay at this condo next year but not in this unit.

“stunning ocean view”

My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was spacios, clean, with all necessary accessories, utensils, etc. I really enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. I would recommend to all my friends.

Owner's reply: Hi Arta - Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay. I just want to point out that you did not stay in this condo, but rented a different one through me that has the ocean view from the balcony. My condo on Vacation Home Rentals does not have an ocean view. It has a view of Tiki Gardens, a park across the street on the intracoastal waterway. I wanted to clarify this, so readers of your review would not be confused. I am happy you enjoyed your stay!! Beth
