Set in an eclectic neighborhood of cabins and homes, our high bank waterfront apartment has a great southerly view, looking towards Seattle, Mt. Rainier and Port Madison bay. Watch the eagles play from your front yard!

The unit has one bedroom with queen size bed, a living space with two full-size futons and dining room table, a sun-room, kitchen, compact 3/4 bathroom, gas fireplace, one covered parking spot, double pane windows, and a small patio.

Basic cable and wireless internet access is included in the rent, although you can arrange for your own cable and internet access if you choose. Electric, water and garbage services are included in the rent as well.

Our home is very close to one of several beach access points, and would be perfect for someone needing a place to live while building or remodeling a home in the area, or someone wanting to check out the area before purchasing a home.

It is a 15 minute drive to the Kingston ferry dock, and a 25 minute drive to the Bainbridge Island ferry. There is limited bus service betweem Indianola and the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal for the most popular commuter runs.

There is a minimum rental of three months, and month-to-month thereafter, with rent of $900.00 per month, most utilities included. First month's rent, along with a $350.00 damage deposit and $150.00 non-refundable cleaning fee are due up front. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be collected for a background / credit check on each applicant.

Area Information
Indianola, Washington, is a charming beach community located in the North Kitsap area of the Kitsap Peninsula, established in the early 1900's as a vacation destination for nearby Seattle residents.

Transportation service to and from Indianola was provided by boats from the Puget Sound "Mosquito Fleet", utilizing our now historic Indianola Dock to both embark and disembark. Our dock is one of the few docks from that era still in use today, and although ferries no longer call at our Port, the Indianola Dock remains one of the focal points of our community.

Getting to Indianola is easy by taking a Washington State Ferry from either Seattle to Bainbridge Island or Edmonds to Kingston, or driving around via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Indianola is fortunate to have the Indianola Country Store in our midst, providing staples, beverages, espresso, and acts as a gathering point for the community. We also have our own post office, our beautiful community clubhouse, built in 1930 and recently renovated, a charming outdoor pavilion, and of course, our 1/4 mile long beach, which is open to Indianola residents and their guests, and is accessed via several points in town.

The White Horse Golf Course, an 18-hole, Dye designed course open to the public, is just a 5 minute drive from Indianola. Also within a short driving distance of Indianola are the towns / cities of Kingston, Port Gamble, Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island; Silverdale is a 40 minute drive from Indianola, and offers all the conveniences of a retail center. Movie theatres can be found in Kingston, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island and Silverdale; there is live theatre in Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island, and in all areas there are arts and craft galleries, antique stores, bakeries, and a wide variety of shopping and dining venues.

The Hood Canal Bridge, gateway to the beautiful Olympic Penninsula is just a short drive away, providing access to the cities of Port Townsend, Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks, as well as the recreational sites of the Dungenness Spit and Hurricane Ridge.

Bainbridge Island is also home to the Bloedel Reserve, Islandwood and the Bainbridge Island Winery, as well as several parks, such as Faye Bainbridge State Park and Battle Point Park. There is a lot to do and see on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula's, but once you arrive in Indianola, you may not want to leave!

The views and accomodations were fantastic. The home was used to house guests visiting for a wedding. Loved having the extra refridgerator space. Beach is right there and the home is walking distance to the local store. It is on my short list of places to rent again.

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our three night stay in this very comfortable beach house in charming Indianola. The view of Seattle and Mt. Rainier across Puget Sound was gorgeous, as was the sunset we enjoyed from the public dock (a short walk from the house). The house was very clean and cozy, and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen.

We have stayed several times at this property and love it more each time we stay. The house is lovely with so many personal touches and the view is incredible rain or shine.
