“Found Gem”

We wanted a rustic Lodge feel and its exactly what we got. Upon entering we were in love with the wood details, very simple but comfortable. Full size fridge convention oven, dish washer and all brand new cutlery, dishes, glasses. Very clean which was of course number one of importance, bathroom and bedroom both on point. I think the only negative was it needed either a second sofa or a recliner for the living room area (husband likes to lay on the one sofa.) Linda and Steve are a phone call away for any reason you may need. We can't wait for the new suite to be completed to book. Great homexaway from home, close to everything and away from the noisy center. The price cannot be beat. Very pleased and happy we found the small but large in extras vacation home.

“The Northland Lodge”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2015

The Northland is a clean, comfortable and peaceful spot. The kitchen includes all of the essential appliances, and the TV and the internet work well. Plenty of space for a couple or a family of four. Great location-near restaurants and shops.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

This unit was brand new, we were the first to stay there. This is one of those properties where the pictures do tell the story. There was a good sized great room/open concept with kitchen, bar, and TV area. Bedroom had a king as well as a built in bunk bed. The couch in the living room folds out to accommodate two more. There is a dishwasher, stovetop, and microwave/convection oven combo above the cooktop. For my wife and I it was more than we needed or expected and made for a great stay.

Liked best: Location was fabulous. Close to everything but not in town. Local tavern, the Scarecrow (500 yards away)had great bar food and the Shack (2miles to the north) served the moost ecclectic breakfast in bowl that we've ever had !!

Liked least: No complaints !!!
