Description of the Inverness vacation cabin rental
Come stay in a romantic getaway, located near the downtown area of Inverness. This updated 1900's cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including one in the master bedroom. The bedrooms each have flat screened TVs and new queen mattresses; one pillow top and one memory foam. Enjoy sleeping on the Egyptian Cotton sheets! The house has everything you need, including washer and dryer. It is decorated in French Country with chandeliers and antiques. You will find it very welcoming and comfortable!

Take a short walk to beautiful, vibrant, downtown Inverness with its antique shops, Historic Courthouse museum, restaurants and Saturday farmers market.

You are across the street from Lake Henderson where you can use the two provided canoes. We have several bicycles for your use on the 46 mile paved bicycle / walking trail that runs through wildlife areas, small farms and quaint towns. The Withlacoochee bike trail is the longest trail in the Florida and is only 3 blocks from the cabin.

Area Information
There is so much to do in the area. Citrus County is called the 'Water Lovers Paradise". After visiting the busy tourist parks, come relax and explore our lakes, rivers, and springs. Try snorkeling with a manatee in our beautiful springs, rent a wave runner and go out to the Gulf or go kayaking. We have crystal clear rivers where you can go tubing or take a day and learn how to scuba dive.
There are many golf courses, farmers markets, antique shops and museums. The public pool and 300 acre park with walking trails and tennis courts is only a 5 minute drive.

Citrus county is a nature photographer's paradise! The area is full of wildlife. Just some of the wildlife you will see are Sandhill cranes, ospreys, eagles, deer, and gators.
So come enjoy our little piece of paradise. You will be glad you did!
