Beautiful, Private home overlooking the Atlantic
Enjoy a cool drink, a cup of coffee or tea while siting in the large deck with breathtaking views of the ocean. See nature, feel the ocean breeze, take a wonderful walk on the beach (five minutes drive), or do nothing at all!
It is a wonderful place to meditate, paint, read, write or just see nature. If you are around during the months of February to March, you may get lucky and see whales!
Come and see what the savvy international investors are raving about. Miles of unspoiled virgin beaches (Jobos, Shacks, and Crashboat), bustling nightlife, horseback riding, waterpark thrills, ice skating (yes ice skating!), shopping, casinos, eco-forests and main roads that lead to all Tourist attractions.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Isabela, North, Puerto Rico
Amazing Ocean View Home
February 9, 2014
If you're looking for peace and quiet Solimar is perfect for you. If you love to just sit and stare at the ocean, then Solimar perfect is for you. But if you want to be close to all the amenities we North Americans are used to, then Solimar is perfect for you too. It's located just 10 minutes from everything (Walmart, Church's Chicken, Pondarosa, Walgreens) but also minutes away from lots of little local stores and restaurants. Plus great roadside fruit and veggy stands. We're not beach people but if you are there are lots of very private beaches nearby. The house is exactly like the pictures which is always a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable king size bed and couches in the living room. We are readers so comfortable lounging is very important to us. Lounging on the deck just watching the Iguanas come into the garden below was my favourite pass time. We were also lucky enough to see whales our first few mornings...that was so exciting! Maria was very easy to work with and her mom, also Maria, very sweet and welcoming. We rented a car which is a must. A GPS, in addition to an island map, is also a must. As Maria will tell you, Puerto Rico is not great for signage, in fact many streets have no signage. When you look at the map remember, the smaller the road #, like #2, the larger the road. If you see a road with a 3 or 4 digit number expect to be driving a very narrow and winding road....my husband loved those! Road # 123 is a major route that runs North and South through the mountains. It is super spectacular, the mountains are breathtaking but it's like a roller coaster with lots of oncoming traffic, again, my husband had a blast driving it! We had some wonderful trips around the island but were always happy to get back to Solimar and sit on the deck with an nice cold Medalla! We loved Solimar!
Thank you Joanne for this wonderful review! It makes us so happy to hear that you had a wonderful time at Solimar. Reviews like yours give us such great satisfaction in what we do! We hope to see you again soon!
Health, Peace and Happiness always to you and your family.

Amazing view and relaxing ambiance
January 4, 2013
This home it's very nice, clean and very comfortable. Maria the owner was very nice to talk to on the phone and her mother was very nice to meet us and escort us to the house after we drove from San Juan. The town of Isabela is very nice. I actually would love to go back soon. You will very much enjoy this house and the view!
You've Got to See This Place
January 14, 2012
This place provided us with exquisite accommodations and the perfect location for our very first stay in Puerto Rico. Maria made it easy for us to book the house and was always there to answer any of our questions. Having her mother meet us and drive us to location was also a plus. They went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable and suited our needs. The outside deck both up and down were used to sit and admire the ocean view. The hammock downstairs was a peaceful way to view the water. It was nice to have the sliders in both the living room and master bedroom that opened onto the deck. The place was spotless and stocked with essentials. Having a washer and dryer was helpful. Everything was in working order with the exception of the dishwasher, but that didn't deter us making many of our meals right there. We used the small cooler provided every day. We loved Isabella and spent much of our time there. The beaches, even the surfing were the best. We liked it better than Rincon. Day trips to the forest and to southern fishing villages were easy to make from that location. The drive from San Juan was about 2 hours. We stayed one night in Old San Juan, but I wouldn't recommend driving there. We hope to return soon and wouldn't hesitate to stay in the same place again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Al & Louise St.Saviour

We are so happy that we were part of your wonderful vacation! We look forward to seeing you again in "Solimar" in the future. By the way the dish washer is in working order again!
