“Our New Favorite Vacation Spot!”
My husband and I were looking for a getaway, but didn't want to go back to another "All-Inclusive" resort (we lovingly refer to these places as luxury penitentiaries because of the inability to roam around). Friends of ours suggested trying out Isla Mujeres & we are so happy we decided to listen. To say that Isla is beautiful is an understatement. You know you are going to a special place by the time the ferry docks at Isla. The villa is equally as beautiful. It is wonderfully decorated, quiet, relaxing, and in a central location on the island. The views, oh the views! There are breath-taking views from the balconies, which makes waking up in the morning delightful. You have every comfort (plus some) that you could want with your stay. The owner's (Chuck and Sue) are fantastic people and were instrumental with suggestions of things to do, places to see, and the best restaurants to eat at. There is something about sitting on a side street eating authentic tacos, watching kids play street soccer, and listening to a mariachi band that makes you feel like you are really in Mexico! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, safe, quiet, and fun vacation spot. I know that we will be going back in the very near future!
“Great Time in Isla Mujeres- Decenber 2015”
This is our second time visiting Isla Mujeres and our first time at Isla 33- Villa Susanna. We very much enjoyed are stay. The condo was great- modern and clean with just the right amount mexican accents and charm. About us - 2 couples in our mid-late 30's, avid travelers, beach lovers and foodies, who like to have a good time. Condo- This is a large beautiful and nicely decorated condo with 2 bedrooms, King beds in both. There are 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, large open living and kitchen area. The Condo really has all the amenities that you could want . Condo has great views, from back and front. Wifi worked great, which is not always the case on Isla Mujeres. Isla 33- Great restaurant and bar located on site. There is a wonderful rooftop pool with great views of the entire island. Location- Isla 33 is located in the middle of island- close to many great restaurants. Location was perfect for visiting different parts of the island, without all the crowds of North Beach. It is very easy to get around - I would recommend renting a golf cart- With a golf cart, you can pretty much be anywhere in 5 minutes. Grocery store is very close. The Beach, ocean and walking trail is across the street so views are great from your choice of pools at Isla 33, however for swimming or sitting on the beach, you would want to take a short ride to North Beach or to one of the beach clubs on the other side of the island... or just enjoy the views and comfort of the wonderful roof top pool. Isla 33 is very new and there is still some work going on but nothing that impacted our vacation. - We actually hardly noticed and will be excited to see the new amenities that are still to come. Owners- Renting the condo was very easy. Chuck was very helpful and responsive- He has lots of great suggestions and truly wants you to enjoy your vacation and time at Isla 33- Villa Susanna. We will definitely be back. Isla Mujeres is a great island for dining relaxing, exploring and fun. The fishing is supposed be great- although, so far our timing and the weather hasn't worked out for fishing. Be sure to rent a golf cart, explore and visit Mango Cafe. Nico's (on site at Isla 33), Maria's Kan-Kin, and Soggy Peso. I would definitely recommend Isla Mujeres and staying at Isla 33- Villa Susanna. Thanks Chuck and Sue!

Our stay at this beautiful condominium was perfect. Every comfort was provided. The large residence was decorated with exceptionable style and taste. The gourmet kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in, and the gorgeous views and terraces were an extra plus. The extremely accommodating owner was responsive to all our questions, as was the outstanding management. The owner sent several emails containing valuable information about the area. The peaceful location is exceptional, a short taxi ride from the very busy downtown area, and another short taxi ride to the beautiful south end of the island. Walking along the ocean path is also a safe and easy possibility. With two refreshing pools and an excellent restaurant serving well-prepared, reasonably priced meals, Isla 33 is a wonderful place to stay.

This was our 3rd trip to Isla Mujeres with our young children (now four of them age 5 and under). This condo was the best accommodations for us by far! It's a comfortable place to relax. The views of the open sea and the sunsets over Cancun are spectacular. There were no bugs or weird smells (as we've experienced other places we have stayed in Isla). The pools are great places for sunbathing and quiet reading, yet also fun for splash contests with the kiddos. The condo is at a fairly central location on the island, so it's a short golf-cart ride to anywhere you want to go. -- We did not eat in the on-site restaurant since we preferred going to the local grocery store and cooking most of our meals in the condo's beautiful kitchen --but it is a nice option to have the restaurant available. The Mango cafe is a few blocks away with some of the BEST coffee we've tasted, and really yummy breakfast chile rellenos. :) -- We hope to return to this condo later this year for our anniversary minus kiddos! :)

Great week at Isla 33
We stayed in second floor unit 1204. This condo is brand new, privately owned,it is beautiful. The views are amazing. Has a fully equipped kitchen, the beds were more comfortable than our tempurpedic at home. Loved the decor. The complex is located mid island, has two pools one ground level and one on top floor of building, Will definitely be returning.

We traveled with another couple and we were looking for a place big enough to share. The condo was very nice and roomy and the beds were very comfortable! We loved having our coffee in the morning sitting on the balcony with our beautiful view of the ocean! It was very peaceful and quiet and we also enjoyed some time sunning by the rooftop pool. We rented a golf cart and had fun investigating the Island. The beaches are beautiful on the other side of the Island which is a short little ride in the cart. We REALLY enjoyed finding great places to eat and people on the Island are very kind and helpful. The owners Chuck and Sue were very helpful and gave us great tips on places to eat and transportation. We had a very relaxing time away and the condo had everything we needed!

getaway, but were tired of staying in "All-Inclusive Resorts"...we lovingly refer to those places as "Luxury Penitentiaries", because of the inability to roam around. We wanted a fresh, authentic, and relaxing vacation spot and we found that in Isla Mujeres! To say that this island is beautiful is an understatement. We were blown away by all that it had to offer. The villa was absolutely awesome, the food was delicious, and the views are stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated & boasts gorgeous views of the Caribbean. We had everything we needed (and more) here. We would venture around the island everyday, but would have a quiet landing spot at the villa to end the day with. The owner's are wonderful people and were instrumental in giving ideas of things to do on the island and places to eat. The best part of Isla is the ability to intertwine with the local people. When you are on a side street eating authentic tacos, watching kids play soccer, and listening to a mariachi band, you feel right at home. I have already recommended this villa to everyone I have talked to. We will definitely be going back for future vacations!
