Exactly as advertised - wonderful

Pros: Beautiful view of the entirety of Isla Verde. Probably the closest balcony to the beach, with room for 4 to eat breakfast overlooking the beach. Very clean, satisfying my picky wife! Everything we needed, including blender, hair dryer, high-quality paper goods, linens, dishes, etc. Comfortable beds, even the pull-out. We had plenty of hot water for four showers in a row! Mark was very welcoming and prompt. The building and parking felt very secure. The resort next door had providers of beach chairs and water sport activities on the beach, so we went parasailing one day. Cons: Lots of seaweed on the beach and in the water at this end, but we just walked down a few hundred feet to find a cleaner spot. No substantial curtains to darken the living room, but the kids slept fine in the morning with the sunlight and wave sounds coming in. Driving directions were a bit hard to follow with a bunch of one-way streets to get to the building. Prepare your route better than I did and don't miss the turn onto Rte 26!. No outlet in the bathroom, so hair drying had to be done elsewhere. The nearby resort beach bar was closed during the week, but Walgreens 3 blocks away sells liquor (and just about everything else). Overall, a fantastic stay which I would highly recommend.

Owner's reply:

Many thanks for the review. We take our guests' comfort very seriously, with cleanliness being top priority. I would like to point out that during the winter months seaweed does occasionally wash up on the beach, but as the reviewer indicated, you can move down the beach a little to escape it. It sometimes appears or disappears overnight.

Ruined vacation

Rented Condo #952969 in the Raquet Club not Marbella Del Oeste, where Tony Saad took my husband and me. I was very disappointed, I told him that we had rented the Raquet Club Condo, Tony Saad said that there was no bed there, he would have to get a bed. That was false advertisement, We should get our money back for staying in such a dump. The air conditioner was leaking we had to turn it off, the TV in the living room had only one channel, no cable whatsoever, the bedroom TV did not work, He charged us $20.00 for parking at the Condo and on the internet the parking said free parking. There were cockroches, that Condo needs to be updated. The Condo had vertical blinds missing in the bedroom, A lot of rust around that Condo. I did not cook the utensils looked nasty and old. Tony Saad was very rude, disrespectful, and nasty. My husband asked Tony for the key for the upper lock on the door to the Condo, Tony used profanity" he said that he would bring us the fucken key". We never saw Tony again, that was Aug.21 until Sept.4. We had payed Tony Saad, so where could we go then?He ruined my birthday, and our Anniversary being so uncaring, rude, nasty, so disrespectful and obnoxious. How could Tony treat renters this way? I am disgusted, very upset and very disappointed in the manner in which we were treated. I will tell family and friends to never stay at any Condo, where Tony Saad's name appears. Curtains were hanging off rusted hooks in the livingroom, even opening the two doors to get into the condo was hard to do the key just went around, and around several times before it finally opened, that happened every day. My husband and I were there for two weeks, it was horrible. I stayed in Marbella, the other building about six years ago and it was very nice, but staying here was a nightmare. We spent so much money $ 1400 what a waist. Tony Saad seems interested in getting his money from renters but does not care about the renters nor the conditions of his condo. The condo is so outdated to say the least. I am going to call The Better Business Bureau and report Tony Saad. This was not a vacation at all, Tony Saad really messed up really ruined our vacation. It was hot and his air conditioner leaked , most likely it was old and. outdated just like his condo. Very upset and very disgusted, this condo does not even rate one star, I wanted this review to be submitted so I gave it one star. What an awful stay at this run down condo. Hope Condo never gets rented again.

Fabulous View

We loved the beachfront location, constant sound of surf, and ocean breeze through sliding glass doors. The apartment was very functional, in a good location--close to everything, and clean. Would definitely rent again. Owner very easy to work with. Apartment was perfect size for the 2 of us.
