Description of the Islamorada vacation cottage rental
Newly remodeled 3/2 mobile home is more than you've imagined so far. A completely customized, designer unit is unlike any trailer. It is not a true double wide but it feels like one; it is 21' wide by 56' long with a 3'4" wide hallway. It is three bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 kitchens (yes...2!), a utility room and has a 4' deep x 8' wide shed. There is parking for 3 to 4 vehicles and possibly your boat. It sits on a rented lot in Sea Breeze Trailer Park at mm87.5 which is in the heart of Islamorada. The city park, chamber of commerce visitors center, government building and fire station is across the street and so much more. The hospital, 2 gyms, medical arts, drug store, movie theater, 2 grocery stores, 2 convenience stores, 3 hardware stores, 2 mailing services, shopping, restaurants and just about everything you need, including daycare through college is all within 5 miles. This home is walk in ready for your new island life and is now being offered for sale; affordability at its best!

On the Deck and in the Court Yard there is plenty of room for the party! The deck has a 8' wide x 30' wrap around East facing deck and a tastefully appointed private court yard which features a 8' tall by 20' long seascape mural that can be enjoyed indoors and out. Grill up your day's catch on the Gas/Charcoal, Grill/Smoker combo and watch the Night Rise out of the Atlantic Ocean. Have a dinner party on the 6 top outside dining area. Memorize yourself with a small fire in the provided pit with 3 hour logs provided. In the morning enjoy the sunrise with your coffee in one of the 4 Adirondack chairs or lay out on one of the 2 cushioned lounge chairs on the back lower deck.

The Living Room features, armoire bar in a tropical motif, an oval sisal rug, queen sleep, slip covered, feather sofa, 2 barrel chairs, all in an Island/African motif. The flat screen tv is with cable Enjoy the bright open living area with panoramic horizon view from the kitchen/living room. Open the 2 sets of French Doors to bring the outside, in. Watch the Sun Rise out of the ocean, everyday, year round. The moon rise is often spectacular as well.

The Kitchen features a stainless cabinet mount electric oven, 2 burner induction stove top, a microwave oven The ex-large capacity stainless refrigerator and lower drawer freezer is recessed into the wall so only 12" extends into your gourmet work space. Plenty of modern, birch cabinets with beech wood butcher block counters makes preparing food an uncluttered joy. Wash up in the 12" deep, double basin, enameled cast iron sink with pull down goose neck faucet. Take all the water you need, there is plenty of hot water on demand.

The Bathroom features an ex large, travertine marble, walk in, dual head, shower with hot water on demand, an efficiency flush toilet and composite top vanity. The floor is natural travertine marble and very easy to maintain.

The Upper Master Bedroom is a KING sized with a extra comfort mattress set and a wicker headboard. The double custom wood closet system is divided by 4 wall mounted lingerie drawers. The wood louver doors keep your clothes fresh while adding a tropical feel. Keep cool with the over head ceiling fan/light AND a mini split air conditioner. Ocean horizon views out the windows above the bedhead look to the southwest at Hens and Chicken Reef; it's a beautiful way to greet the day! The wall mounted flat screen cable tv is nestled in one of the many recessed wall nooks adding unique yet useful architectural features in this truly custom home. The floor is a combination of manufactured "driftwood" flooring and travertine (in the bathroom area). All bedding is included: 4 fiberfill pillows, 1200 ct. sheet and pillow case set, cotton light weight blanket and comforter.

The Master Bathroom features an open concept design with a large step in, travertine shower, a tulip vessel sink mounted in a re-purposed tropical motif armoire and a private "water closet" with an attractive pendant light and vented fan. The bathroom floor is a natural marble travertine which butts up to the plank floor in the rest of this impressive master suite...there is more!!

Three steps down to the ground level from the master bedroom is a SECOND KITCHEN! Use this space as a private, fully functional suite with its own exterior entrance door which leads to the street side of the unit. Out the front door is a 6 x 8 brick paved patio area perfect for a small grill and a few sitting chairs. The kitchen features a deep, double, corner, stainless sink with pull down goose neck faucet set in the beech wood butcher counter top amount modern "driftwood" finished cabinets (uppers and lowers). The induction burner plates, microwave, large capacity toaster/rotisserie oven, apartment sized refrigerator and WASHER DRYER COMBO completes this efficient little kitchen. 2 seat, counter height dining set and a rocker glider makes this an inviting working space, whether you're preparing a meal or just doing arts and crafts.

The Upper Bedroom features a full size wood Murphy bed with a pillow top mattress, tropical motif night stand with reading lamp and large closet. All bedding is provided: 2 fiberfill pillows, 1200 ct. sheet and pillow case set, cotton light weight blanket and comforter.

The Lower Bedroom features a queen size, 11" memory foam bed, a large closet, a 6 drawer dresser in a tropical motif, 2 night stands with reading lamps. All bedding is provided: 4 pillows; 2 fiberfill, 2 down, 1200 ct. sheet and pillow case set, cotton light weight blanket and quilt.

The Laundry Room features a large capacity washer and dryer set. A large, side by side second refrigerator and freezer and broom closet. It has an exterior door that exits to the lower deck on the canal, the perfect place to catch a few rays on the lounge chairs.

When you are all fed and rested, enjoy a kayak paddle or take a walk to Founder's Park to swim in the Olympic sized pool, play some tennis, take in an event or just walk your dog to the Bark Park for socializing, running lease free and maybe get a bath at the bathing area. End your day watching the sun set on the horizon, walk down to the Mexican restaurant for an authentic dinner for a perfectly peaceful day.

Dry storage is available for all boats, any size. The Park features 2 marinas for boats up to 25'OAL. Our little community, Sea Breeze Trailer Park is all about the fishing, boating, snorkeling and diving; immerse yourself into ISLAND LIFE!!

Area Information
The Upper Keys, Islamorada is located about 1-1/2 hours from Miami International Airport, 2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale Airport or 1-1/2 hours from Key West Airport. We are set on a small island called Plantation Key in a long line of Islands called the Florida Keys. Our city is called Islamorada, which is made up of several islands collectively. We enjoy both the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and the FL Bay as our front and backyards.

From our location, mile marker 87.5 from the water we are about 1/2 way between Tavernier Creek and Snake Creek, which gives us easy access to both ocean and bay.
We are just 2-1/2 miles from Hen and Chickens Reef which in my opinion is the most spectacular snorkel and dive site in the Upper Keys...but shshhh...don't tell anyone; we want it to stay beautiful.

There are a few restaurants nearby that can be walked, biked or driven to. Puerto Vallarta features authentic Mexican food and offers a full bar. FlaKeys is a coffee shop style cafe. MM88 is the Best SUNSET location offering designer cocktails and an inspired tropical lunch and dinner menu. M.E.A.T. is the best (gourmet) hamburger and Craft Beer joint in town and it is only a 1/2 mile away at mile marker 88 in the Plaza. Made to Order is about 3 miles north on the Old Hwy. They offer a terrific waterfront breakfast and lunch menu, best coffee and rye bread in town!

There are shops, grocery, hardware, gyms, hospital, mailing facilities, drugstores and more all within a 5 mile radius. There are cab services, bike rentals, JGT bus service, Keys Airport Shuttle and Thrifty Car Rental all nearby and available as well.

Our Park, Sea Breeze is situated on 7-1/2 acres of OCEAN FRONT property. Our community is made up of 101 lots full of really cool and friendly people. About 1/2 of which choose to live here full time. The other 1/2 come whenever they can; mostly weekends and holidays. If you make yourself available to the "locals" you will find yourself feeling welcomed and part of the community. If you don't, they'll keep and eye on you from afar and wave whenever you come or go. Be careful though...chances are, you will make new friends and you won't want to leave! You have been warned. ;)
