Nice house, not great customer service.

April 25, 2014

We stayed at this charming house for a week with six adults. There was plenty of room for all and the house was very clean. There were several things we expected that were not available. There was NO WIRELESS INTERNET and when we called the owner we were told to call Comcast and expect to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes so they could tell us to reset the modem. There was a golf cart but it did not work. The owner stated he would come and help us within 10 minutes and after an hour and another call he came to look at it and let us know yes it is broken. He made us feel like we were bothering him. There is a pool but it is very small and was full of leaves so we did not use it. If you are okay with no internet, golf cart or pool I would still recommend this house. The neighborhood and location is great.

We stayed with our in -laws and 4 kids, so 8 of us total and it was a great house for our spring break vacation. The beach was really nice, and we used the wagon/beach chairs... easy walk to beach. We loved the pool and hot tub, which were so conveniently close to the house. Upon arrival the home was very clean, and all appliances worked great. I appreciated the Keurig coffeemaker and really enjoyed having 2 levels of living space so different groups of us could hang out separately. The owners were great to work with and I would highly recommend this home if you are looking to stay on Isle of Palms. We did a ton of sightseeing: Fort Sumter, carriage tour, eco boat tour, aquarium and enjoyed eating out for most meals.

This is our 6th year to vacation on the IOP and the first time we rented a house. The lot and grounds are perfect with many trees and bamboo hedges. The house offers three decks in different directions so even on a cool day sun can be found. We liked the private drive and unloading our luggage was easy. The golf cart was great and we toured to the beach and marina several times. People were friendly and the area is very quiet and peaceful. We will return next year!!

We didn't stay at this property, we stayed at 4 Twin Oaks Lane. It was a lot like the property we stayed at last yr. Only thing missing was a screened porch. Look forward to coming back again next yr.

Nice rental

October 9, 2007

Quaint place. Great layout with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. Minor quirks like outlets not working, broken light, doors sticking, but in general very nice. Enjoyed having the pool, as it is a walk to the beach. Side note: Mosquitoes were horrendous!

Had a great time. Cottage was very clean & comfortable. Glad I didn't have to bring linens. Could improve refrigerator- no ice maker, so we bought a couple of bags of ice. Loved having golf cartfor quick trips to beach/marina. Would highly recommend.
