Description from owner

A recent guest said: It's the little things that really draw attention to this home that were well thought out for a very comfortable stay. All beds were oh so comfortable, with large flat screen televisions in all bedrooms and family seating area. The decor was really perfect, with details thought of, giving the home a warm, welcoming feel. Cleanliness was apparent, in all rooms, and all bathrooms. This rental also had wonderful insulation, so we never even heard the neighbors. We spent a whole day shopping in Charleston, and the rest of the time was spent on Daniel Island, and then a brief stop to Sullivan's Island to see the beautiful beach there.

The decor is classy and comfortable with many places to sit and relax with a glass of wine from the bottle that I will leave you to a cup of coffee while rocking on the porch. Sink down into the comfy couch or recline in the chair and close your eyes or watch a movie. The large flat screen television has many channels to choose from and you will be cool with the air conditioning and ceiling fan in all rooms. Since my husband is a chef, the kitchen is well equipped and contains all of the dishes/pots you will need to cook a home cooked meal right at home. The well decorated and comfortable six bedroom all have soft quality lines and warm cozy comforters to help you get that wonderful night of sleep that you need on vacation. There are two master king suites furnished with a Charleston classic bedroom suit with ceiling fan and with private full master bath downstairs with washer and dryer; one bedroom with two queen bedrooms upstairs with bath; deck with rocking chairs, private pool, well equipped, great location close to downtown (13 miles), beach is a short walk, walk to our favorite restaurant, The Boat House, many local restaurants and great shopping close by. Decorated with Class, While Keeping Comfort in Mind. Conde Naste Travelers voted Charleston the #1 vacation destination in America, #3 in the world behind only Venice, Italy and Sidney, Australia. GQ Magazine named Charleston the #1 vacation spot for 2011, The Coolest Small City in America. Travel guide Fodor's lists Charleston as one of the Top 21 places to go in the World. Some of the best chefs in the U.S. work their magic in Charleston restaurants. Cypress Gardens less than 40 miles away. Sweetgrass basket vendors within 5 miles. Avian Conservation Center- Center for Birds of Prey Rehabilitation center 13 miles away. Family Circle Tennis 11 miles away. Whether you are coming to bring the family or friends to attend Spoleto or coming for the amazing restaurants like Magnolia's, FIG, Oak, Husk, Pearlz or SNOB that are all downtown just 11 miles away or for the restaurants close by on Daniel Island you won't be disappointed. About the area

The house is big and roomy and has two master bedroom suites and four other bedrooms. All bedrooms either have a bathroom or access easily to the bathroom. Decks on all sides of the home allow for gatherings or quiet time alone. Two sets of washer/dryer so that you can do your laundry as you go and leave with all clean clothes. Private pool is right off of the deck. Rent a golf cart and ride it to the beach with your food, drinks and other things for the day. You are close to the pool when you want to come back and get refreshed. Huge gourmet kitchen so that you can cook meals and hang out together. The best beach, Isle of Palms, is right there and it has been my favorite beach because since parking is very difficult, only the locals go to the beach. Walk to our favorite restaurant, The Boat House, for happy hour, lunch or dinner. The music is fun and stories from locals are abundant! The Boat House boathouserestaurants./ WALK there and enjoy without pressure to drive. This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms. Come early and have a cocktail at the Rooftop Bar while enjoying amazing views before dining. Home Team BBQ hometeambbq./ for the best BBQ, football foods and comfort foods. Combining traditional processes and techniques of classical cuisine with the simplicity of comfort food, BBQ, and Southern fare

We couldn't have been more pleased with out stay in Karen's condo. The furnishings, appliances and condition of the condo are absolutely top notch, and Karen and here caretaker (Stuart) made certain that we were well informed and cared for. Us two couples spent 8 days in the Charleston and surrounding area and our strong belief is that the location of this condo was the best. Access to all areas was easy and only 10 minutes from the airport. Great eating establishments are only minutes away? We will be going back to Karen's condo and will be certain to share this opportunity with others.
Just to share some of our favorite nuggets we found;
Nearby eating : Daniel Island Grill, Orlando's Pizza, The Islander Restaurant.
Misc : Cypress Gardens - what a hidden gem! You will spend most of the day up there. Just fantastic!!! And all for $8 for the day. Don't skip paddling your own boat through the swamp, and bring a picnic lunch.
Kiawah Island is a treat to see some really upscale homes , walk the beach and see some beautiful sights from the Ocean golf course.

This unit was very comfortable for all of us. Loved having the master suite on the first floor and the detail to attention with the plantation shutters, the big TVs in all the bedrooms, etc. We all agreed that this property deserves 10 + stars!

We had a great time in this condo. It had 3 great size bedrooms and plenty of living space for our party of 4. Everything you need is in the condo and there is a lovely little porch at the back. The shared pool is just seconds away and is a great place to relax.
If you want to get out and about the Charleston area then this is a great location as it's within 20/30 minutes of the city, beaches and the outlet shopping. If you don't want to travel far Daniel Island is only 5 miles away and has a number of restaurants and a supermarket.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was great, the beds and the big sofa were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well furnished and a huge TV on the wall in the lounge. You need a car for your stay so you can travel into Charlston from the island. All in all a perfect home from home.
