A stylish roost perched above the hustle and bustle of downtown Jackson, convenient and chic. With ample space for families and groups of friends, this two-bedroom, three-bath penthouse sits above the central artery of Pearl Street, with a wraparound deck affording views of the surrounding mountainsides with nary a roofline obstructing the panorama. Belying its pristine sightlines, the penthouse sits only three blocks away from Town Square, allowing for all of the convenience and culture of downtown living.

The entryway greets guests with aesthetic elements and ample storage for their gear—in vintage storage bins no less. Just beyond, the great room encompasses the kitchen, dining, and living areas in an ambiance of contemporary yet comfortable cool. A cathedral ceiling buttressed by exposed beams lend an industrial element to the open element, and two walls of windows make the panorama ever present. A gas fireplace framed in barnwood and capped by a bison mount serves as the focal point of the great room. A woven sectional (laden with chic accent pillows), a pair of framed leather armchairs and two petite sheepskin stools invite lounging by the fire or watching movies on the large flat-screen TV. An antler side table and polished stump add western flare. A plush area rug, placed atop the cherry floors, lends warmth. Nearby, a round dining table seats four in slipcovered chairs beneath an artful array of antique mounts. A banquette beside the dining table adds entertaining flexibility. A curated art collection adorns the walls: Modern scenes of western landscapes and tropes. The glamorous kitchen, sheathed in marble and bamboo, is open and airy. A vintage deli sign (broadcasting short orders and sandwiches) gives the sleek corner a rustic edge. Four leather-topped bar stools allow kitchen spectating.

Glass doors open onto the deck, which runs all along the east-west expanse of the top-floor unit. A hot tub, tucked in a corner, allows for a soiree beneath the stars. Back inside, the extra bathroom, marked by taupe marble and bamboo cabinetry, features a glass shower, tub and slanted sink. The master bedroom boasts a tall bed wrapped in a pillowy duvet, with views across the private deck overlooking Snow King. A TV hovers above a bureau, and accents include hide poufs, a cowhide rug, fur pillows, a knit throw and aspen branches. The ensuite bathroom, lined in grey marble, offers a jetted tub and glass shower.

The second bedroom is marked by textural elements: a loosely woven scrim serves as a backdrop for the leather headboard and wooden bed, while an antler armchair creates a western moment within the otherwise plush schema. A Southwestern dhurrie rug complements the hide drums used as nightstands. The clean white ensuite bath induces calm.

By nature of being at the heart of downtown Jackson, this penthouse on Pearl Street offers both convenience and refuge (floating as it does above the streetscape). From below, the roofline of the apartment looks like a sail, a peak at the peaked experienced afforded inside.
