Located on a quiet leafy side street in one of the most exclusive enclaves of Jerusalem, this twenty-five year old property is pristine and its' architecture is award winning. It's truly a magazine home! Full of light, with a spacious 2300 sq ft interior and 500 square feet of balconies, four large bedrooms, three bathrooms (all newly installed in January 2011), gourmet kitchen, utility room and a fabulous lounge/dining/entertainment area make up this home.
The amenities are excellent with brand new high quality firm beds and high thread count sheets. The lounge is equipped with two leather sofas (triple and double seater) and an over-sized armchair plus a fully reclining leather armchair with a massaging unit. In the dining area the table seats six but can extend to accommodate ten. Extra tables and chairs/benches available on request.
One of the living room terraces (there are three) is equipped with an al fresco dining set consisting of a large table, four chairs and large parasol.
The sun terrace off the master bedroom has a delightful three seater swing canopy, and the second terrace off the master bedroom has a small table and two rattan chairs for comfortable enjoyment.
As regards communications and entertainment, there is a 42" plasma TV in the lounge and a 32" LCD TV in the master bedroom with a further 32" LCD television in a further bedroom. All the television sets have YES satellite. There's also a 26" LCD American TV and multi-region DVD player in another bedroom together with a gamecube system and several great games (also compatible for American Wii/Playstation/Xbox. The internet is a 4 meg ADSL line with wireless access. There's also an incoming telephone line and the ability to make cheap calls out using a calling card or through VOIP.
Dedicated off street gated parking and plenty of free on street parking make this a joy for anyone with a car and the property is located only a twenty minute walk from the Old City and a twelve minute walk from Emek Refaim.
Kosher and regular dishes, pots etc are provided for self-catering.
There are very few comparable vacation rental properties in terms of spaciousness, quality and amenities within central Jerusalem. This property is as large and well facilitated as a suburban American home - which is extremely uncommon in central Jerusalem where most homes' bedrooms and bathrooms are tiny.
Just a few streets away (a five minutes walk) is the start of the lower Sherover Promenade (the Tayelet) with some of the best views of all Jerusalem and surrounds.
This property is just being returned to short term letting after being leased to an embassy for three years.

The house is beautiful, just renovated and wonderfully situated. The owner, Sarah was extremely helpful and thoughtful and made our stay even more pleasant. The house is spacious and well stocked with everything you could need.

The space was just perfect for our needs (we were 9 people of an extended family). The common area was more than we could have hoped for. The location was good, nice quiet, safe street and neighbourhood. Not easy walking distance to all tourist spots, but easy enough with cabs. Next time we stay, we would ask that some amenities be provided such as dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, and extra towels for the kitchen and bathroom. Also, there was a coffee maker, but it needs to be replaced, as it took way to long to brew 3 cups of coffee! Otherwise, a bright, airy and spacious place to call 'home' when in Jerusalem.

Big, well located BUT dirty!

We were 8 pasengers looking for a walking distance to the KOTEL apartament and that DID happend. Very nice unit! Problems: the apartment was really dirty, with no answer from the manager PELA (Sara was out of the city) when we call her. Also we have asked for an extra key (imagin 8 people with ONLY one KEY!) and again, no answer. The closets were full of boxes and closing from "previus" tourist. I won't stay there again!

The location is very convenient and the house easily accomodated 8 adults. Our check in was a bit delayed and the property could have been a bit cleaner on our arrival. The appliances and fixtures could use a bit of updating. Overall, however, I would stay at the property again, without hesitation.

This apartment is huge. Our group of 10 slept very well. There was plenty of space for us to eat and sleep. The service was excellent also. Great Jerusalem location

Highly Recommended! The house was extremely comfortable for my family of six. Roomy bedrooms with plenty of closet space and large living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious enough for additional guests. The neighborhood is quiet. Buses to the center of town are available a block away. A 30 minute walk to the Kotel. Local Talpiot taxi service arrives in 5 minutes. Gated parking was extremely convenient and additional parking on the street is easy to find. A 24-hour grocery is around the corner and a large supermarket is about a 3 minute walk away. Sarah was very helpful. She greeted us, gave us a full tour and answered all of our questions.

This is a 3 storey residence as promised. Stove did not work for the 30 days we were there. Water in home smelled of sulphur. Level of cleanliness was unacceptable. Clothes dryer improperly installed and circuit breakers blew.Windows and doors leaked during rainstorm. Could hear traffic from Hebron Road. Property had all kinds of construction materials in closets in home. Owner, Sarah, was out of contact when needed during an electrical emergency and so were her appointed representatives. Hot water heating was intermittent and not dependable. House has great potential but we did not rent with the idea of us doing the refurbishing and cleaning since it was represented as a "five star" property and it certainly was not. We do not recommend it to our friends.

Thumbs up for this wonderful rental in Jerusalem. Excellent space for our family of 9. Wonderful neighborhood- close to old city and Ben Yahuda St. Clean, modern, and comfortable. Sarah the manager is always available and very accommodating. Upgrades being installed during our visit including beautifully tiled bathroom on the main. Kitchen has all modern conveniences with great wrap around porch. Master suite is wonderful and spacious with excellent bathroom including heated floor and towel warmers. Would never stay in a Jerusalem hotel again. Great property. Great location. Great management.

Our group of 7 Americans ended our recent visit to Israel with 5 nights in this lovely home. The location is great and there was plenty of room for everyone. We were able to relax and enjoy our Jerusalem visit. The apartment has many extras and is very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the balconies and views. The home was by far our best location while in Israel and the price is quite reasonable.

For our small family reunion we decided to rent this house instead of taking several rooms at a hotel. Not only did it cost us much less, it also enabled us to enjoy our time together in a lovely family setting. The house is at a very high standard, lots of room for everyone, everything seems very new and clean, all the needed accessories (and more!), and excellent location. It's a short walk to the popular Emek Refaim street with all the shops and restaurants. And also very close to the Old City (we walked). The property owner, Sarah, is very eager to help. This has been a magnificent accommodation for our family of eight, six children 13 to 30, and my wife and me. We arrived at Ben Gurion in Tel Aviv at about 11;30 am. When we drove to Jerusalem, we found the house ready and in good order for our stay. All utensils, dishes, washer-dryer, dishwasher, stove are clean and well-maintained (some appliances are brand new, including a new 42-inch plasma TV with YES satellite hookups in the living room and master bedroom). With three baths and four bedrooms, we never felt "pushed" when it was time to get ready for a tour or event. Our landlord was able to help us with understanding what we had to do to get around town, and made every effort to ease our adjustment to the city and the house.
