“Amazing Jerusalem Haven”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2017

This is such an amazing home to stay. It is so very peaceful and yet in the middle of everything. There we actually parrots in the trees as well as doves and other exotic birds. The view is spectacular looking over the Temple Mount. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. We all really loved this haven of Shalom. I just hope it doesn't become so popular that I can't rent it.

Owner's reply: Wow. Thank you Benjaminm for the lovely review. It gives my husband Jacob and I such a joy to share our home in jerusalem with others. We love it so. I often sit in the living room looking out at the trees swaying in the breeze. and listening to the birds praying for peace. So glad you enjoyed it! Shalom u Bracha. Peace and blessings. Best regards, Susie

“Delightful Caspi”

Reviewed 1 Dec 2013

I had a positive experience staying at this flat. I stayed for almost three months. The location is super. Close to everything. The flat itself is very accommodating. There are many spaces for life in this place, including a rooftop that is breathtaking. It is a great place for several people as the multi-level style provides for togetherness, but also individual privacy. I hope I can rent this property in the future.

Owner's reply: Thank you Patricia. It was a pleasure having you at our home in Jerusalem. Thank you for all the lovely and thoughtful surprises you left us including your beautiful art work. Hope to be able to share our place with you again in the future! Best regards, susan and jacob

“A house with a view”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2013

The house is located on a beautiful, country-like and quiet street. Although the house looks like a small building from the street it is a private house. The apartment itself is spread through several floors with a room on each floor. This gives a feeling of privacy which is great is you are a family with children. The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need, including dishes, towels and beautiful fresh beddings. The view from the living room and the roof balcony is just unbeatable: A whole panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. The street is a 10-15 minute walk to very enjoyable Jerusalem streets such as Derekh Betlehem and Emek Refaim in the German Colony with their dozens of great restaurants. It is also a 5-minute walk to the First Train Station, a new complex with restaurants, farmer market, bike rentals, etc. and a 5-minute walk as well to the Jerusalem promenade. Altogether, a very pleasant place to stay at when in Jerusalem.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your LOVELY review. We are so happy to share this apartment with you and so glad you enjoyed your stay! Best regards, susan and jacob chodakiewitz

“Truly a Gem”

Reviewed 13 Jan 2012

The unit is as described a gem. we found it to be comfortable, located in an exclusive and quiet neighborhood. Clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The multi level unit may not be suitable to the elderly and handicapped. Will definately use it again.

Owner's reply: Thank you Simon for your lovely review. We are glad you found our home comforting and quiet. We love sharing our jerusalem haven with people from around the world. Come back soon!
