Description from owner

Are you and your family looking for a quality home to stay in while on Oahu? You found it. This beautiful, air conditioned, tastefully furnished Kaaawa home can sleep 6 to 8 people and is located one house from the water's edge and just a 2-minute walk to the local beach park! It is Hawaii as you imagined it - beautiful, lush, tropical, and quiet yet close to so many things. You have kayaks at your disposal, and snorkeling right in front of the house. You also have plenty of room with the beautiful, professionally landscaped yard. Stunning vistas surround you from every angle and window. One lot from the ocean and road, the foliage and double pane windows ensure no road noise bothers you, unlike many other local ocean front properties. Though you may wish to open the upstairs windows and listen to surf break on the reef. Stretch out on the 400 sf covered lanai and let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep. Located in Kaaawa on the Windward Coast lies midway between Kaneohe and Laie (the start of the North Shore), the home is just 2 minutes from the Kahana Bay State Park,15 minutes from Polynesian Cultural Center and 5 minutes from Kualoa Ranch. So if you are looking to have an authentic Hawaiian experience surrounded by ocean, mountains, jungle and beaches you have found the place for you.

A properly described property for sure. This home is tastefully decorated with quality throughout. In fact, it is nicer than described. Neighborhood is quiet and dogs next door are friendly. My family of 7 enjoyed the home with two spacious master suites upstairs, a downstairs bedroom and we used the Den as a bedroom with futon mattress. We used kayaks by simply walking across the road and dropping in the water. There was snorkel gear, boogie boards, water shoes, pop up shade, you name it, it is there for your use. Kitchen is fully equipped. Randy is kind enough to open their home for a fair price. He is attentive to your needs and offers local tips if needed. This home is located out of the concrete jungle in Kaaawa, a laid back town that makes you forget you are on the same island as Waikiki. You will not be sorry for renting this home, rather counting your blessings!

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is wonderful to hear that your entire family was able to enjoy your time. You are right, there is no place like Kaaawa. Beautiful oceans, and a whole different world from Waikiki. Thank you so much!
