The Honua Kai Resort & Spa offers just seven"inner courtyard" One-bedroom suites, and they are considered to be the very best available. Suite #713 resides on the TOP floor of tis prestigious "stack". Simply put, Suite #713 is the finest one bedroom available at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa. "Hale Lanikai", is the name I have chosen for my new "Top Shelf" Maui home. The Hawaiian words translate as, Home of the Heavenly Seas. As Hale Lanikai resides atop the resort, the views are uninterrupted, both above and below. My home offers a sense of privacy that most suites at the Resort do not enjoy. Hale Lanikai offers partial ocean views from within the suite, and amazing Ocean and Molokai views from the spacious lanai. This one bedroom suitewith it's additional sofa bed is considered one of the very best Ocean View Suites available, and is situated within the inner courtyard. Inner courtyard suites offer protection from the prevailing Northeast trade winds, and are very quiet. Being a top floor suite, there is never a chance of noise from above. If ocean views and privacy are what you are looking for, combined with Five Star Hotel interior and amenities, you will be very pleased with the Hale Lanikai.

There is no poor choice at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa; it is quickly gaining recognition as Maui's finest "All Luxury Suite Destination". On-site you will discover a wonderful beachside restaurant, gourmet deli grocery store, one of the nicest and largest fitness/spas on Maui, multiple meandering pool areas, and one of the best beaches I have ever visited. I was struck by the serene sense of openness of the Honua Kai lobby and grounds. The furnishings are top-notch with wonderful sitting areas in an extremely spacious lobby and courtyard, beautiful large pools, and just a great sense of calm and relaxation. There is plenty of great walking paths and the boardwalk with surrounding putting green grass takes you all the way down to the end of Kaanapali beach - or you can walk along the ocean parallel to the boardwalk with the waves lapping at your feet. The fitness center is large, has plenty of aerobic and weight machines and is truly a joy to experience. I am a long-time fitness enthusiast, so I really appreciate this amenity. This is truly a 5 star resort atmosphere and my one bedroom suite is one of the very best units and locations in the whole resort. Steve Gatchell, who heads the Honua Kai Vacation Rentals & Realty that manages my suite, is located directly across the street and will be available to make sure that every detail of your stay goes smoothly and that you are well taken care of. He also has many years of experience on Maui and can help arrange for discounted activities, if desired. He also is an owner at Honai Kai so he is expert in every aspect of the resort.
