This TRUE OCEANFRONT condo is intimate for two persons, yet downtown Kona for convenience: Privately managed, fully stocked, AIR CONDITIONED~with Concierge Service is you desire. Accommodates up to three Guests. Not just another hotel room; we warmly welcome you to your tropical, Big Island home!

Spacious king master bedroom in attractive Hawaiian decor with central AC!!

For further comfort, there is a variable rate bedroom ceiling fan, large dresser and closet, wall mounted flat screen TV and adjoining vanity area with separate bath with tub-shower. For convenience there is a Pack'N'Play portable crib for an infant.

The queen sofa bed in the living room sports a REAL mattress for a comfortable sleep. DVD/CD cable TV for entertainment...if you can tear your eyes away from the ocean view! Dining area for your indoor meals with glass top table and tropical decor, can be utilized as your home office.

The tasteful kitchen is complete with quality cookware and tableware, wine glasses, and new appliances for whipping up a gourmet meal to enjoy at your indoor dining area or lanai table overlooking the pool and ocean! Ocean-facing, tropically decorated living area, with ceiling fan, includes entertainment center with complimentary high speed wifi, cable, and local phone.

We appreciate our vacationing couples-with our without an infant or child, and our Business Guests. Free for use: beach chairs, boogie boards, picnic coolers, beach towels, and more...all you need to bring are your bathing suits!

Notes: Prior to arrival: Get the right Covid test, then upload your negative results on the State's mandatory "Safe Travels Form" available online from the DOT. Be prepared for a temperature check upon arrival in Hawai'i.

By renting our condo, each Guest must agree to operate the AC only when all doors and windows are tightly closed, to prevent moisture damages. Assessments to cover actual damages will be assessed upon departure.

About the area

Hale Kona Kai is conveniently located in the village of Kailua-Kona. Walk just two blocks for restaurants, entertainment, or shopping~~even a daily Farmer's Market! The Big Island boasts the clearest water and finest snorkeling sites of all the Hawaiian Islands: The dry west side of the Island has no less than 20 of the best snorkeling areas in the Islands. Excellent swimming and snorkeling are at the gorgeous, Magic Sands Beach four miles south, or Kahalu'u Beach Park~~five miles away. If you prefer to stay active yet keep your feet dry, try hiking and sightseeing awe-inspiring Volcanoes National Park, at two-and-a-half hours drive south.

Getting around

Situated ideally in downtown Kona, yet hugging the shoreline and seemingly very secluded. Just one block away, the waterfront Alii Drive is very active with walkers, joggers, and bicyclers on it's wide, pedestrian shoulders. The local shuttle bus stops a block away for a quick ride north, and taxi service is always available. We recommend a rental car to see all the sights on the Big Island.

Rental cars are conveniently located at the Kona International Airport, 8 miles north. We are located in the village of Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Specific directions and arrival entry details will be available to each Guest upon booking.

Two sets of linens are provided, with further cleaning or linens service for an extra fee. Our Guests are our most important consideration.
