Due to its spectacular location, our home normally rents for $155/night. We have reduced our rates until the economy turns around to allow everyone the opportunity to visit the Big Island without breaking the bank.

Our completely remodeled end-unit oceanfront home is located on the ground floor in the Kona Isle condominium complex on Alii Drive within feet of the ocean. The grounds are tropically beautiful, with pool, BBQ area, and white sandy man-made beach area where you can laze the day away. Close to shopping, golf, snorkeling, and restaurants! Alternative Lifestyle families welcome. Whether you chose our home for your vacation or not, contact us and we will be happy to send you a wonderful travelogue on what to see and do while on the Big Island, terrific restaurants, and a guide for packing. Aloha, Beth and Brad

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the most fun things to do at your vacation rental?
A: Our guests say that sitting on the lanai and watching the Sunsets is awe inspiring.
Q: What makes your vacation rental special?
A: Our home is truly "Oceanfront". Matter-of-fact, the picture you see on the webpage of our living room looking out onto the Lanai, the greenbelt, and the white sandy beach and ocean beyond was taken by Beth.
Q: How far is condo from Kona Town?
A: Our condo is on Alii Drive - approximately two miles from town. During some parts of the year, there are shuttle buses that run up and down Alii Drive and you can always call a Taxi if you need one. Kona is a "walking/running" town-meaning at anytime day or night, you might see dozens of folks walking up and down Alii Drive.
Q: Are there Grocery stores nearby?
A: Like any big city, Kona is no different when it comes to food stores: If you have a Safeway card and Costco card, bring those, as Costco (between Kona and the airport) does have the least-expensive gasoline that we’ve ever found on-island, and Safeway (directly beside WalMart) does offer great discounts on groceries, by using that card. The Safeway is located on Palani Drive, just a few blocks toward the harbor as you turn off of The Queens Highway going toward town. There is a "KTA" Grocery store located in Kona, which is located south of the condo in Keahou.
Q: Are there beach gear included in the unit? Towels, coolers, snorkels, boogie boards, etc. We are looking for a unit with the extras so we don't have to bring gear, or buy as little as possible!
A: Great question: We do have beach towels available for our guest to use. There is an assortment of items in the hall closet that is for use by our guests that have been left by them over the years. We are not sure there is snorkel gear; most people rent the gear "on island" so they get the right sizes, etc. We have seen boogie boards, beach chairs, beach mats and coolers in the guest closet and likely those items will still be there, but no guarantees. We have found that guests purchase these items during their vacations there, but have no way to transport them to their homes so they add those to the guest closet in the hallway for others to use
