Reviews for this vacation studio rental in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii

We spent a week in this property and loved every minute of it. The views are jaw dropping and we were endlessly entertained with the fact that we could walk out the back door in our pajamas in the morning, and be at the beach! The property is nicely maintained and the management staff are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Kepola and Richard for your great service. The house is quite large, with ample space for people to spread out. It was a bit of a splurge for us to stay at a property in this price-range, but it was absolutely worth it. We'll always remember staying at such an amazing place! Hopefully we can go back again:-)

This is a beautiful, newly remodeled home right on the beach. The accommodations were above my expectations, as the home was very comfortable, nicely decorated, good furniture/beds, and the kitchen and baths were gorgeous with slate flooring, marble countertops, and nice fixtures. Very quiet neighborhood, and we felt safe. Even though the owners lived upstairs, rarely did we see them or hear them, and they (Monica and David) were very nice and helpful. The location is also very good, approximately 35 min to Honolulu, 35 min to Polynesian Cultural center, one hour to North Shore. Kailua Beach was beautiful, and only footsteps away, and most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. Good restaurants close by, and a Safeway Grocery store around the corner, very convenient. What I liked the most, was the breeze coming off the ocean and cooling the house down, especially at night for great sleeping with the sound of soothing waves in the distance. I almost feel like I don't want to write a good review, as the house may not be available the next time I plan to visit Oahu. But I highly recommend this property, and the owners as well. Reserve your place as early as you can, because you don't want to miss out on this gem. Totally Awesome!!!!! And if you have never been to Oahu, please consider staying anywhere other than the hotels in Waikiki, unless you like crowds, noise, and a mile to the beach. Not to mention the rude foreign tourists.
perfect little beach house

We loved our days at the Beach Walk house. It is truly that. The beach is RIGHT THERE!! It is a perfect location for getting to Lanikai or Kailua beaches. And just a tiny walk to the pill boxes hike. Easy to get to town to rent bikes, kayaks, etc. We elected to not rent a car which meant walk everywhere. No regrets with that decision (though if we had planned to do more exploring of the whole island, it would have been better to have a car) Bus service or cabs are available if needed (though buses not terribly frequent). The house is really well stocked and has everything you could need including beach mats, boogie boards, sand toys. I really appreciated that various condiments (mustard, honey, peanut butter, etc) were in the fridge and cupboards so that we did not have to spend a small fortune on stocking these basics for our short stay. We also enjoyed the lovely welcome basket of tropical fruits, choc mac nuts and cookies!! It is a perfect size house for a family of 4. Thank you so much! We LOVED it!!

This is a wonderful place! It is well kept and comfortable. The owners are caring and gracious. The sand and ocean are only steps away and the ocean lulls you to sleep. We would stay here again!

we enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. It was perfectly located with easy access to the beach, deli and Kailua Kayaks & Sailboards. We were able to kayak and paddle board daily. We will return to Kailua in the future and will use your company for any future stays! Thanks!

Dear Monica & Jaime,
I had to scrape ice of the car windowe this morning... It's hard to believe just a few days ago we were swimming and making sand castles on Kailua Beach.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You really embody the aloha spirit.
See you next year,
Bill, Joanne & Emily Dean
